    Standup Ballistic Control System I

    Standup Target Painter I

    Note: The above setup includes only defensive modules, and will only work in Lowsec/Nullsec space due to the Guided Bomb launcher. Rigs and service modules are empty because they will differ significantly depending on the use of the Citadel! Put on which services you need only as they cost fuel, and rig it for whichever activity you intend to do most of!

    What is the fuel consumption for a Citadel and its modules?

      Was going to ask this.

      The Citadels themselves don't use fuel, just the service modules. The amount of fuel they use varies from module to module. A simple Raitaru with engineering/lab type modules that it gets bonuses on will probably run a monthly fuel bill somewhere between a medium and large POS.

    Buy 3 raitarus, place them in low populated null-sec next to high-sec systems.
    Kill whoever comes to destroy them = fun times ahead.

    Can an Admin other than the owner add fuel blocks to the fuel bay? And
    can the Admin put modules online like reprocessing facility?? cause I as admin
    can " Take Control" and open Fitting but cant do the above?
    Seems only the Admin/Owner of Astrahus can yet I want my Admin to be able to do those things.

    Good video, would like to see risk assessment on the wormhole side of things -> Risk vs Reward when there is no asset safety in wormholes and your take on the matter whether CCP should make adjustments on structures anchored in wormhole space since its comparable to 0.0 where there is asset safety (Bonus benefits that scale where you have anchored). Cheers :)

    • @Z-S-H
      @Z-S-H 7 років тому +1

      As far as wormhole use goes I go by the simple rule of everything in a Wormhole is expendable. Anything can be destroyed and lost so manage all your assets appropriately. Now that being said the use of the clone bay on a citadel is very convenient and if that is all you have online the fuel use isn't bad. Citadels allow each member of the corp to store assets and it not be in a corp hanger like a POS again very convenient. Also if you do not online any standup service modules you have a home that doesn't use fuel at all where you can store your stuff. As asset safety goes I think that it adds additional flaver and risk to WH space if you can't afford to lose everything then you probably dont need to be there I am not talking down to anyone merely stating a reality. There is a large difference between living in a WH and day tripping in one as far as risk of assets goes. If you take the risk of losing your assets then you have the convenience of having more assets and therefore more options on hand which in my humble opinion is a balanced trade off.

    • @MarkTarsis
      @MarkTarsis 7 років тому +1

      For a solo player a citadel is probably going to be at more risk than a properly setup large POS and more expensive as well. But for a corp, living out of a POS is a real pain and having what's basically a station is a God send for them. Defense may be easier for them as well since they can plan to be around during the vulnerable windows.

    • @Z-S-H
      @Z-S-H 7 років тому

      If I may I just wanted to add in that a citadel is a little more of an initial investment cost but the long term cost of fuel is actually less if you only use your citadel for asset storage and don't run a lot of services since only the services use fuel. The tower uses fuel 24/7 365 and that adds up. It's all in how you long at it and how long term your plans are as to whether the investment cost is worth it. I'm talking about an astrahus btw when speaking of investment cost but the principle stays the same.

    How do you find which systems are the best in terms of Systems Cost Indexes to anchor a Citadel, preferably a Engineering Complex like the Raitaru? Do these Indexes change due to security level, type of engineering complex etc.

      Depends what for. If you want to move it or sell it. You can sell it in place with a transfer.
      If you want to pick it up I believe you have to make all the services inactive, then begin unanchoring

    I just started dabbling with Cits and I’ve yet to figure out how to restrict Corp members. Sat from taking control of the citadel. I’ve reviewed various forums and EVE-based Kbase articles on how access lists work from corps being greater than “everyone”, etc. but no dice. Any site recommendations for that intel? If it’s even a thing. @_@

      i use it as a staging point for my jump freighter to jita. A million times safer than a normal station and I also use it to research my bpo's, manufacture my goods, and a quick and free jump clone right next to a market. for a very low start up cost it's worth having your own.

    • @Durangedkitten
      @Durangedkitten 7 років тому

      You would need to be in your own Corp that is a week old if you wanted to anchor a pos/citadel. Also you would need the isk for the citadel plus a way to transport everything. But yeah i imagine a solo player could do a citadel.

    • @dravenlestat882
