Many Native American tribes still have Hebrew/Middle-Eastern linguistics/customs still preserved in their cultures to this day. Some of them are descendants from the people in the Book of Mormon. The ancient North American Mound-builder civilizations correlate with the people in The Book of Mormon. They built fortified cities the way those people did. They had metal armor and swords like those people did. They made mounds filled with human bones like those people did. They had ancient Hebrew/Middle-Eastern writings like those people did. They had some X2a DNA that traces back to the Mediterranean/Middle Eastern area where those people came from.
The Book of Mormon is a true record about a group of believers in God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ, who left Jerusalem in 600 BC and ended up somewhere in ancient America. It covers the years 600 BC - 421 AD, and also includes a brief record of a much earlier group of believers in God and Jesus, who left the Tower of Babel (approximately 2200 BC) and ended up somewhere in ancient America as well.
There is plenty of evidence in North America supporting the Book of Mormon. Read the Book of Mormon and research the Mound-builder civilizations (especially the Hopewell and the Adena). You will find that there were once great ancient civilizations right here in the United States and Canada that you most likely had never been taught about in school.

What did you think of The Oath? And that the script was modified? I personally liked it, I thought it was a good movie. Yes it had some setbacks but there's enough good to make it an enjoyable movie.

Me too! Go to the link in the description box to watch the short film and help Darin raise money to finish it, even if it's just a few bucks. That's all most of us average folks can do. But still spread the word, because every now and then, rich people hear about it and donate a generous amount to the film :) The 15 minute short cost about $200,000 and that was mostly donated money!

I just browsed through the book of Mormon, it is very strange, written in a kinda faux Elizabethan style, with very religious undertones. I am not qualified to say if it is any good literary, but it is hard work and appears to copy a lot of stuff from the bible. Very clever the way that it is marketed as people actually believe it is a true story.

Frank Healy well it’s another testament of Jesus Christ from the Western Hemisphere similarly to how the Bible was a eastern hemisphere witness!

@@shawnbradford2243 what fun would be in that. Take out all the guesswork and faith goes right out the window. Read. Pray. Have faith a loving God will answer and not lead you astray. Act. Other than that, all the evidence in the world will not convince you a or anyone it is true. But if you must have some hints at validity, there are videos showing the mound builders hopewell peoples were those people of the book of mormon. But evidence is not what will bring the gospel of Christ to anyone. Sincere Prayer is the best method. Many millions have joined the church without evidence. Good luck on your search.

@@shawnbradford2243 from one side a pyramid has 3 sides, but from the top you find that it is 4 sided. If I were to tell you it had 4 sides and all you could see is the 2 dimensions, you'd have to put a little faith in me that I've seen more than you have. God sees all from all angles, we put our faith in him because he knows all. If you see all sides, you don't need faith anymore, taking away your choice to disagree, or you'd be judged harshly for disagreeing with truth. God gives us agency to choose for ourselves. If he came down and said "this is the only way", choice would be taken away; that being satan's plan - forced in all decisions. Agency is important - without choice we have no purpose to this life, like in a bubble affecting no one but yourself. The right to choose good and evil is why we're here on earth with bodies. We chose to come here to be tested and return to be judged by the choices we made while here. This is the purpose of life, to say different is to say no one is in charge of this world, and there is no conscience to know right and wrong, and you'd feel the same killing someone as you would jaywalking. No rules. No feelings. A life with no purpose. That said, I can tell that you just want to debate with me about your beliefs vs mine. Proof is to you to show it didn't happen, not for me to show you it did. We have a book with the history of some of the people that were in the pre-Americas, so I've got my proof. It is up to others to prove otherwise, and people have tried for close to 200 years.

The video is about the mound builders, that were not part of the native American that we have now. According to the book of mormon, these people were wiped out through the final battle. The jaradite people could be native American ancestry because they came over after the time of the tower of babel, before Hebrews existed. Only one jaredite met the people of Nephi, so they did not have the same lineage(as nephites). Or other ways could've existed that people could've came to the Americas other than the people of the book of mormon. As for seer stones, it was a thing in the biblical past, God has used them before, why not again? But, it all comes down to that you can believe it is false, that 6 million people are sheep led to the slaughter, it is your agency to choose, no one is forcing you to believe one way or the other, at least in the northern Americas, they don't. Islamic nations... that is another story.

@@shawnbradford2243 simply put, you want to prove it false, it is up to you. Read the book of mormon completely next time you want to tell me about it. You have not read it. From your comments, it is clear. It is only 500 pages, shouldn't take long for you. After you have completely read it, then you can tell me what you've read. Right now, you don't want to know any answer but the one you already have. To humble lives, mysteries are unfolded. This conversation need not continue on a public forum, there is no winner and just a difference of opinion that will continue throughout were it to continue. I've made my choice as you have. You live your life your way, and I will my way. In the hereafter we'll have a laugh about it one way or the other.
