Everyone: I don't like James Charles but....
Me: I like his personality. At least he was respected in gaming community. After all the bullying James went through from social media, he managed to stand up for it. I can admit sometimes he made some wrong decision, but it's really hard if you're young and had no someone to truly looked up too. It's even harder when someone you're looked up too ending up stabbing you in the end. So please, don't start hating him! Just gave him a room for real understanding.

I know this was 3 weeks ago, but I wanted to add to that second sentence you made because I’ve wanted to put this out for a while but never found the place.
Joining the gaming community and participating in Minecraft Monday _changed_ James. I know that he did a lot of growing up in the months prior due to everything (you know what) blowing up in his face. However, from a viewing perspective, I saw more change in his personality throughout Minecraft Monday than I saw before and after his break while dealing with everything.
It could be that the gaming community (content creators and viewers) as a whole is less judgmental when it comes to things that are impossible or hard to change and James is used to getting vast amounts of hate for that type of thing (homophobia, his tone of voice, his hand movements when he talks, how fast he talks, the way his mouth moves when talking _i have actually seen that one_ , etc.).
It could be that the part of the gaming community that he was exposed to (CaptainSparklez, Vikkstar123, SkyDoesMinecraft, CallMeCarson, Technoblade, Skeppy, etc.) is full of people that are legitimately willing to help other people when they can, and if they can’t, they’re willing to admit that they do not know how to tackle a problem. This mentality is very far from the polished picture-perfectness and the social cloning that’s rampant in the Beauty Community, and being around other content creators with that positive mentality could have done wonders for his ability to cope.
It could be that the entire community was willing to help him stay afloat when everyone James knew on a more personal level was turning their backs on James. Especially since many people in the gaming community are fairly (or very) intelligent people that have experienced bullying in their personal lives and know how to recognize someone going through something similar and actually help them. That could have done wonders, not only for James feeling personally recognized at such a horrific time, but also for the quality of the advice or care that they may have given James.
It could be that the gaming community’s fans were able _and willing_ to compliment James and even ask for future interaction (ask, not demand [another difference]) without feeling a need to express that “well, I don’t like James, but...” or anything along those lines. They were openly supportive of James without giving backhanded compliments or adding on a “but” to their statement. Once again, very, very different from the shit James has to deal with regularly.
It could be a mix of those things, or even some background stuff that nobody other than the people involved would know about. But I swear, the gaming community did wonders for his mental health and his “on” persona.
Sorry that this was long, I’ve just wanted to say this for a long time and have never found the correct place. If you’ve read this thank you for listening.

Also one can change their perspective of someone when someone you admire collabs with that person you dislike, the why's are a lot. Rosé korean makeup is my go to !! it's soft, natural looking yet definitely enhances your look. i used to do western makeup but i realized that korean-style makeup looked better on me

Oh my gosh it feels like just yesterday i was trying to follow Pony’s picture tutorials from Naver that fans would translate into English. She’s come soooo freaking far and I am so proud of her!
