It’s Mind boggling to think that it was nearly a year ago HM died. Ever since hearing this from her funeral procession, I became obsessed with this piece.
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this. I've been looking for it ever since I saw the Queen's procession rehearse it at 5am in the morning. I wish I could find an actual recording of that amazing historical event.
This is indeed Beethoven’s Funeral March No3. No1 is the one believed to have been attributed to him and actually wrote by Walch. No3 is by Beethoven! Excellent transcription - it sounds great!)
What evidence do you have that this is by Beethoven? The video title says it is by Walch (just like march No. 1). March No. 2 is definitely by Beethoven as it is a transcription of his Op. 26 piano sonata (3rd movement). I have heard that the transcription was done by Walch which could account for the misattribution to Beethoven of the other two marches.
Its sounds pretty close to the one I heard in the procession, I think you can only tell its fake because of the snares and some rapid tremelos - more red robins and itd sound indistinguishable

Am I the only one who hears the marching steps and Big Ben ringing every minute?

I think this is the best version one can find on UA-cam. Thank you
Found it! Love this, heard it from the Queen's funeral. I'm making a recording of sorts with excerpts from this.
Why is it impossible to find studio recordings of this piece? It’s a majestic piece of music.
I don't know. I hope recording with any chilean band in the next year.
@@SimonBMC do you have similar scrolling for Beethoven funeral march No. 1? Can’t find
Excellent, Bravo, Thank you
Thank you very much
Goodnight Sir. Do you have this score and parts available for purchase or download?
Hi wonderful! It is possible I can get a copy for my Band?
Remarquable orchestration.
Mais toujours impossible de trouver un véritable enregistrement.
Ce serait une première mondiale.
Hopefully someone does a recording with an real orchestra. Im glad we have this, but real instruments just sound so much better.
