talking about astrology as a memory aid, i remember when i first started getting curious about astrology (as jupiter crossed my ascendant lol) i was watching the astrology podcast and i remember thinking like, "wow everyone has such a good memory"

I have a doubt that plagued me for years, though. I'd love astrological remedies, but I've always been a bit restrained in that i always thought "what about lessons and the soul's growth?".
I mean, if we incarnate with certain planetary debilities, our soul does that to learn how to deal with those and learn and grow, or are they accidental and we should strive to eliminate them to lo live a life in pursuit of as much pleasure and happiness as possible? Fighting suffering?
If the source of creation is infinite then both and neither can be true... Its not exclusively this or that
