Amen for your testimony Dave. It is needed more than ever in this day. Your finds were awesome also. God Bless your hard work.
Thank you Dave for sharing your adventure with us. You are by far the best bottle digging show out there. May God bless the work of your hand, your wants and desires and the need of your heart. J.Au-en
Hi Susan...well thanks for watching and for taking time to share such a sweet note with us. I feel there are other digging videos that do a much better job and more interesting than mine...but I sure appreciate your kindness. I'll be starting to do a couple videos showing some of the more interesting bottles and things I've dug over the past 50 years. There are gonna be lots of surprises for even me, since many of the boxes I will be opening havent been opened in 20 years! Stay tuned....God bless you!😀
@@diggerdaveshovelinshelleyb8057- When's the video?!!!!! When? When? Or have you already posted it, and I missed it?
Yay on the 2 gallon jug! You sure had fun on this dig. Thank you for sharing both your adventure and your testimony!

@@diggerdaveshovelinshelleyb8057 hey Dave, digging has not been happening. I may have some time off of work in July. I am working on some spots near me. There is a good spot in Jackson I have permission on. I’ll keep ya posted. Bud
Loved this Dave. It’s great that you let friends dig with you, but I have to say my favorites are of you Shelly and or Paul. What a great trashy area. That sound of falling trash. Still waiting on that audio! 😊
You did great for a Solo dig I enjoyed your video thank you for sharing 👍♥️⚒️🗝️🇺🇸
Its always so nice to hear from you! I always like to have Shelley or Paul share in the digging adventures, but the digs must go on...haha. Thanks for your comments always! God bless your family and you!🙂
Dave, a fantastic part 2. I was on the edge of my seat when you were pulling out the jugs, Wow.. on the variety of embossed bottles. Loved the case gin. Awesome ending following your excitement and chasing the battery. We have learned so much from you. Say hello to Shelley and Paul. 👍👏🙏😀✌️

Great solo dig Dave. Too many to mention but the 2 gallon jug was an awesome one.
Yea, I cant believe that big 2 gallon jug was perfect. There actually was another one just like it that had the top gooned up. Thanks so much for watching....have an awesome week my friend! 😀
Your day is complete with the Castoria 😂 … wish I had a Penny for all the Slicks I have dug , think I would definitely be a Millionaire 😝 , but it’s all good stuff , nice Whisky , well Deserved Jug Dave , crazy with all those bottles brother , awesome commentary at the End , n ty for your hard work ❤️🙏
Yea, how about those Castoria bottles...I think they are unbreakable arent they? Amazing how many slicks are perfect also all around a real good bottle that is broken..haha. Thanks so much Jim....God bless you brother!🙂
Whole new meaning to "Honey, I'm going to work in the yard" Hope all is well Earl in NC 😀
Haha...yea man...that's the kind of yard work I can handle any time! Thanks for watching Earl. Any digging there in North Carolina lately? 🙂
@@diggerdaveshovelinshelleyb8057 I used to dig in the 60s in Massachusetts and I have a couple of years on you so my digging in my adopted state of NC is confined to estate sales! And I have been doing rather well!
Love your enthusiasm
Wow Dave. Was a good day!!
It was sure fun digging all those bottles...but now I cant wait to get back to see what else is in that hole! I've got some other video ideas too, so hang on brother....
Great ending to a great dig. Im happy to see you found so many good bottles. That 2 gallon jug is really really good. Congrats
What fun!!! Your amazing!!
Wow!! I could feel how bad you didn’t want to stop. Lol So many bottles just jumping out at you. That was extremely fun to watch. And again, the Jug Dump didn’t let you down. Jugs and Crocks everywhere. I’d love to have the 2 gallon jug with the broken top. And anything else you said, “Oh darn, it has a lip chip or a crack. I’ll keep it though. Someone might want it.” You know I’m that someone who wants it. Lol
I had some good news on my Cancer Journey. I still haven’t had my surgery yet. They want to see how this hormone blocker will work. Because I’ll need to stay on it after surgery. So as of now, I still don’t have a surgery date. But the good news is I have to do Radiation after surgery. It’s 5 days a week for 6 to 8 weeks. The place they do the Radiation is 3 1/2 hours from my home. So that would have been 7 hours a day in my daughters car. It would have killed me. But my son lives in Colorado and there’s a Cancer Center there that does Radiation. So I talked to my Dr and I can do Radiation in my sons town. 7 minutes from his home. What a relief. Prayers are answered. The plus, I get to live with my son for 2 months or so. I get so lonesome for him. Anyway! Thanks for the dig and for you and your family’s continued prayers!! ♥️♥️♥️
My prayers are with you,God Bless!
Well lets just keep believing the Lord that your cancer will shrink away, and you may not have to do those treatments. Drop me a reminder at digrdaveb@aol.com and I'll put you together a big box of stuff! That was a fun dig, so I'm just thankful. There was a large tree that had fallen months ago, and I was digging that hole directly underneath it. When I came up out of the hole one time, I pulled a "Joe Biden" and smashed my head real hard into the tree and nearly knocked myself out....I may have a mild concussion, as I'm still not feeling 100%. Joe at least has a reason...Thanks so much for your encouragement Angela....we are all praying for you sister!🙂
@@diggerdaveshovelinshelleyb8057 oh no!! I always seem to be bumping into things. Not always my head though. When you showed the Groundhogs hole, I noticed all those big, green leaves. They were so beautiful. And during your dig, I could hear a neighbor mowing his lawn. Birds singing. All of these fun sounds of summer. And then there’s Dave, having a hard time pulling those bottles out fast enough. They were just dropping in your lap. Lol. So much fun.
@@deloradeabel8487 thank you so much. I’m feeling strong and so far there’s been no pain from the cancer. I have other issues, but I’ve been dealing with those for years. So they feel like non issues! Lol. I’m sure when the Drs start poking at my cancer, the pain level will change. But nothing is forever. So it’s all good. Thank you for your prayers.
That a beautiful Jug
Hi Diane...there were two of those 2 gallon Ruckel & Son jugs side by side, but one has the top broken. The good one cleaned up real nice though. I'm gonna sell it in my ebay store since we just have way too many jugs now as it is. We sure appreciate you watching. 🙂
lots of bottles today good dig
Thanks for watching. It was a fun dig with several interesting finds. Now I cant wait to get back....hopefully Shelley or Paul can dig also next time. 🙂
You know Dave, I really think you and Shelly could also do a channel on antiques the auctions you go to etc... with all of your knowledge the community here on UA-cam would benefit and maybe would supplement enough sub's and income for years and years to come!
Soak that iron base in air tight container of white vinegar for about a week, rinse, and scrub with a plastic brush and dawn, rinse, and repeat process if needed. Crazy results. Brass just use ketchup. Let me know what you think.😊
OK Dave you already know that I am a huge fan. I heard that you are building a house out of old bottles. Is this myth or legend? ❤❤❤
Hi Ely...we would actually love to build a house out of bottles but I'm afraid we are all just way too busy to attempt such a project. I have actually given thought to building a small bottle house though using the vast amount of slicks we dig up. Stay tuned....let me mull it over a little more. 😀
There is one in the U.P. Michigan that is constructed of bottles and mortar.
my best find was a carters cathedral ink the small one hexigon cobalt blue
Hey Stephen....wow, that was an awesome find you made! Congratulaions! Its been so long since I've dug a good Carters cathedral ink that I about forgot what they look like. Our dump is just a little too old for those...all we find are usually the clear Carter's small inks. Thanks for watching.
👍 nice. Needing a group pricing on your eBay store 😁
Hi Jacob...thanks for your message. Drop me a note at digrdaveb@aol.com and I'll make you a good package deal brother. Just let me know what bottles you may be interested in ,and I'll let you know what kind of group price I can make you. 🙂
More privies dave privies!!!
I know...we are wanting to dig some privies and have a couple real good permission digs lined up, but I need help, and Paul is just so busy with the kids, etc. We'll get in some privy digs soon though I promise....
Hay Dave how close are you to being done with the jug dump?Just curious.God Bless you and your family, from Northern Calif.
Hey Delora...thanks for asking. We are actually still a long way from being done with that jug dump. There are not many shallow spots left...most of the yard is 10 ft deep. We may have to get a backhoe or excavator machine to get it all. Thanks so much for watching. 🙂
Can’t wait to watch more of your lovely family digging the jug dump!
Almond extract bottle I think, not polmolive
Hey Claude...you are probably right. I didnt look at that one very closely...it just resembled one of those PALMOLIVE bottles. That dump is just loaded with extracts and food bottles. They sure ate good around there! Thanks for watching.
Where do you sell the plain medicines bottles, or how could I buy some of them from you.
Hi Tina...thanks for watching and for asking about some slicks. We are blessed with unembossed medicine bottles so will be happy to make you a good deal on whatever kind you like. Drop me a reminder note at digrdaveb@aol.com....🙂
Where can I buy the cool stuff you find?
Amen! Raised in Christ!
Yep, Amen brother! Like it says in the Scriptures...by faith we are born again in Christ...and also raised in Him to walk in newness of life! His resurrection guarantees our resurrection...Hallelujah! Thanks for watching. I love your name "Enduring Hope"....that's what we have in Jesus! God bless you!😃
I can mend the jugs that are broken
