why is she wear Chador? WHat is the need for Anu to suck up to stars...you are so starry eyed and fan in every single interviews and it sux.
She sounds like a school teacher, who explains a lot and children get more confused at the end. Ofcourse she is beautiful, amazing and represents Bharat so wrll
😅😅😅😅😅
The way she NEVER takes the opportunity to say anything bad, shady, suggestive, or mean about anyone, avoids any unconstructive or personal negativity in general... The way she takes a compliment humbly, gratefully, and realistically... The way she knows what she's talking about through and through, and if she doesn't, she will simply say so and then engage in an actual truth-seeking dialogue... The way her values and principles are always firmly at heart of her perspective... If any celebrity deserves to become a role model on how to be a good person in the public eye, it's Aishwarya.
Truer words have never been spoken! She is a role model for us and for generations to come.
The way she talks in circles without making any sense, or go on and on sounding fake and boring is mind blowing.
is that really a lot to ask from a normal person, to be decent? she is not a bad person, but clearly lacks any talent or charm. She owes all her fame due to her looks, that no longer exist
Well that's just a regular person for you. No big deal
@@rihanajan9798very true!
The scene with Aditha Karikalan in Kadambur Palace is an absolute all-timer. Stunning performances.
She's very well spoken not interrupted by any negativity all.
There are so many reasons to love Aishwarya, for many may be her beauty, her acting ability is beyond which she has proven time and again. Beautiful dancer and 1000th times an all rounder..❤❤but to me her intelligence and intellect and the way she holds herself with such humble and down to earth attitude she has..and also she is soo in touch with the reality. Her moral values, her principles and integrity
She is not fazed by all these "worldly achievements "which he has since the 90s to till now and still the humblest is what i admire about her . Beautiful in all aspect ❤❤ ✨️Aishwarya Rai✨️
uv jus sed evryfg i was finking of.....im reading wot evryone has to say.... thts exactly wot i was finking of ashwarya rai.... i cu sit here an listen to her foreva..... shes not jus beauty,, but plenty inbetween her ears too....hehehe thts a compliment.....
Ash always acts naturally when she does a Tamil film
Loved her in Kandukodein
I think one of the few directors apart from Mani Ratnam who has really been able to tap into Aishwarya's acting prowess is Sanjay Leela Bhansali. I liked Nandini in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam but I absolutely loved Sofia in Guzaarish!
Try Rituparno Ghosh's Raincoat and Chokerbali. She also did exceptionally well in Provoked and Umrao Jaan.
All worth a view!
Also, Rituparno Ghosh with movies like Chokher Bali and Raincoat.
@@deea1173 I have seen Raincoat. It's an adaption of the short story by O' Henry 'The Gift of the Magi'. I loved Aishwarya Rai in that movie as well. A truly underrated performance of hers!
Aishwarya one of most versatile actress of Bollywood , and her career's best movie raincoat movie even best performance .
Sofia my favourite aishwarya character. Also cherish Paro, Nandini, Jodha. But Sofia is selfless. Saba also shining and nowadays showstealer Nandini Ps 1 and Ps 2 Aishwarya killed it 🔥🔥🔥
She is spectacular in PS-2. Its unfortunate that 'South Indian' films do not get the attention they deserve in Hindi speaking belt, if they are not Bahubali, RRR, Pushpa or KGF!!
We're watching South Indian movies thanks to Netflix and prime I watched PS1 and I'm waiting for part 2 and I'm not Indian but we're watching don't think we're not watching
Rrr Pushpa kgf all are mass masala and ps is not
@@user-v2qdfg-v53e PS is not Masala film. But it is also a huge film and it has a solid story. I'm saying that by just sticking to Mass Masala, we are missing out on a lot of good Indian content.
guys im american what does ps-1 and ps-2 mean 🤔🤔🤔🤔
@@RefRed_King Hi Darling, PS 1 mean Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 , PS 2 means Ponniyin Selvan Part 2.
She is a true Diva ❤❤❤❤❤ Queen Aishwarya
Why is valentino making mithai wrapper into clothes
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Haha
😜🤣🤣🤣🤣
Becharey Valentino ko mithai ka kya pataa..🤣🤣
Beauty, Grace, Talent, Orator, Incredible actor, mother and a good human being that sums up Aishwarya Rai. An ardent admirer and fan of her work. ❤
It's all media hype. PR Excercise. U Are Too innocent. 😮
What about wife? DIL??? 😂😂😂
Aishwarya has also grown as an artist with time. It shows in how she holds back in scenes. Hope she can re-create something with Bhansali in the future. I'd also like to see her work with Vishal Bharadwaj, Anurag Kashyap, and Vikram Motwane.
she just need diet, and can ove comfortable like before
@@dwianggryresmiyardani6583 no she doesn't South indians are okay with her body because they know only acting is required.
I'd love to see her in a Bharadwaj movie. A good director can bring out the best in her.
@@Trollika_Devi for some spesific roles, she need to lose weight
I would love to see her in some kickass action movie with Hrithik (something like Dhoom 2,but with some senseful and deeper plot).
It’s always a treat to watch Aishwarya Rai on screen.. she is magic.. mesmerising. She needs to do more films.
Anupama mam is a master of conversation and camaraderie with people!! 😍👌
If aishwarya gets a suitable director, she can sparkle...like bhansali n mani ratnam sir.
The name Nandini is lucky for Aishwarya - 1st in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam which was her 1st Bollywood hit. And now PS
Tamil*
Sure. I am sure she and the filmmakers had nothing to do with the success
I love her soooo much
Waiting for PS2 to stream so i can watch the acclaim she's getting for this film. It was not available in any cinemas near my house so ill just have to wait till streaming to watch this queen ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Aishwarya's dress here looks like the saree drape that Jayalalitha did😊, even the color.
True
Totally worth it 🎉🎉🎉🎉 these interactions at film companion are always nice and then Aishwarya Rai. The grace, the laughter and the Performance in PS2 ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks
WTF happened to Ash, still not able to get in shape. I understand as new mom she chose to be natural but after so many years she is still not able to get fit. Always baggy oversize clothes , hair on face, all to hide fat.
She's so well spoken. Very balanced lady. In love with those giggles ❤
FC at Cannes is a much awaited event for me. I don't know it gives me a fresh summer vibe ❤️
Aishwarya always gives the most eloquent, intelligent, graceful and dignified interviews, I admire her a lot for everything she has to say and the way she chooses to say it... But also, to allude to first question Anupama asked - i feel like Film Companion also always gives her the perfect space to do it, asks questions that are actually worth answering in the first place (sadly, unlike many other journalists), and they do so for other creators too. I look forward to these interviews and am never disappointed.
Thank you for this interview. #AishwaryaRai's #AishwaryaRaiBachchan's thought process is so positive, and she is so unassuming. These are some of the many attributes that so-called achievers of this generation and even her peers and seniors probably won't even comprehend. No offence to them, but they are simply not there on the same plane as Aishwarya is. Call me biassed; I don't care, but I honestly swear, this lady naturally evokes admiration and adoration. I would like to thank you and, through you, the members of the media for enabling people like us to know more about the icons we look up to.
I was waiting a long time for her new interview. She speaks volume and no one in female actress can give such interviews
She has put up her self with so much grace
We need more strong pathbreaking roles for Aishwarya Rai !!!
Still Aishwarya looks so Epitome Beautiful😍 She has the aura that no one can come close to that🔥😍 no one literally no one from younger actress can come close to her in teams of beauty❤️ she looks like 25yrs old woman it's hard to believe that she is 50🥰 Miss World forever 🔥👑 Truly Iconic lady and Legendary Personality from India 🇮🇳👑❤️ #aishwaryarai
Aishwaria is an epitome of beauty
Why can't Anupama honestly tell her that this dress is dreadful and tell her gently that her make up is making her look ill. Why do these French designers give her such awful dresses and subject her to ridicule and why can't Aishwarya say no to wearing it. If she wears a simple cotton sari and no make up she will shine like a ⭐
Honestly that dress is totally unjustified
Thank you for sharing such thought-provoking insights about the film industry and the role of women in it. Your words resonate with the powerful impact of cinema and the importance of audience response. It's refreshing to hear your perspective on the creative process and the satisfaction that comes from working with directors who value and bring out the best in their artists. Your dedication to learning and mastering dialogue in different languages is truly admirable. I applaud L'Oreal for their efforts in creating a more equitable space for women in cinema. Your positive outlook on the growth and recognition of Indian cinema is inspiring, emphasizing the need to focus on the genuine reactions and responses rather than getting lost in analysis. Your words reflect a deep appreciation for the magic and wonder of the film industry. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and reminding us to embrace the shared experience of movies as they touch our hearts and minds. Keep shining bright! 😇
good at her profession, awesome mother, good wife, good daughter and lives with in laws... not all woman can balance all the responsibilities beautifully. big respect
She lives in the same building not in the same house. Also, how do you know she is a good wife? Stop celebrity worship, they are regular people.
They don't live together though, and in any case I don't see why it's her responsibility to live with her husband's parents but not the other way around. But yes I like her too 😊
You cannot compare her to the normal middle class woman who does good in her daily 9-5 pm profession, awesome mother, wife, daughter, daughter in law, cook, teacher to her kids etc. list is endless. Her profession is part time now like one film here and there, doesn’t have to cook, clean and has the best of facilities like drivers and cars and does not need to run to take public transport. Of course she earned her lifestyle and kudos to her on that. But the regular middle class mom is the best multi tasker and needs our salute
@@cheersbloom ....yes....it's the ordinary folk who deserves all the praise...
She spoke such long sentences but after 20 mins, it felt like she spoke nothing
She is Queen 👑 Aishwarya Rai Bachchan!
She is politically correct.
The consumate professional who will qualify every response she gives.
She will not give the ill intentful indian media anything to create a circus with!
Its Brilliant really, especially in this day and age!!!
😂
Feel same, different then other actress talks, such a robot
@@Naidugaru3166 exactly she is eons ahead of other actors who don't hesitate to create media and pr circuses.
As for being a robot, well that's brave from a faceless troll. Why not use your face while attacking a successful woman??? Embarrassed???
Only smart people will understand. It's okay if you don't. 😊🫰
One of the most beautiful faces world will ever see. All through the phases of her life. In every age, shape and size, a thing of beauty she is forever.
She used to look great..until the Botox.
@@17sreesanth getting old has it own struggle. In entertainment business, it’s even harsh as they literally make a living out of “looking good”. She’s only a human and she’s no exception. Almost everyone does it. Her botox will settle. No worries.
Shakal nahi dikha Raha hai woh full, ekdum baal ke beech mein chupake rakhti hai woh
Lovely seeing the way she moves her mouth for the Tamil dialogues in ps 1&2. It was so precise and beautiful which was sadly missing in Trisha who herself is a Chennaite.
Kept hearing Nayan at times due to Deepa Venkats dubb 😂😂 i was speechless at her lip syncing demm. Hope they release some bts during her takes . She remembered everyone else's lines as well . What a legend Aishwarya Ma'am 🙏🏽🇲🇾💜
I've met her in 2009 in mumbai airport she had very dominating yet humble & polile personality...she was actually very beautiful without makeup... actually she is physically most perfect woman i have ever seen in my life.. ❤️
She is no doubt the most popular indian actress , I was hoping anupama will ask her about her next project
She is very articulate very classy but no way the best actress. That will go to Madhuri dixit
Aishwarya continues the streak of speaking so much at the Cannes interview without actually conveying anything😂
Aww,
Your limited mental capacity must be such a handicap in life.
She qualifies responses to avoid the indian media circus!
Next time stick to videos that match your limited mental capacity kk.
She is quite verbose, she likes words, she keeps saying the same thing over and over kind of repetitive and somehow what ever she is trying to convey gets lost in all that word.
Just get to the point madam not all these words, she reminds me of Karan Johar at times, that man can talk, too many words.
I couldn't take even the 1st 5 mins of the interview .....she loves listening to herself without an answer to the question asked ....here we say doomsoum when the lights go out 😂😂😂

Love the interviews from Cannes! Thanks FC!
Need more movies of Aish specially with Sanjay leela Sir.
The way she NEVER takes the opportunity to say anything bad, shady, suggestive, or mean about anyone, avoids any unconstructive or personal negativity in general.YESYES
I am 100% sure that she is very spiritual. Her each words are so loud to feel that.
Yup, I agree.
Me too 😮
She was fabulous in PS 2. Keep doing more films in different languages
I saw her in PS 1 on Prime last month and she blew me away. Always like her but her performance reminded me again that beyond the title and her stature, Aish is a really talented actress and i feel it sucks she chose not to pursue more international career like PC did for example. I think she enjoys her comfort zone and she did embark in doing so before but maybe she got tired? And good question asking her first thing about Hindi cinema. So many young newcomers and none of them are good actors.
Aishwarya’s talent agent in Hollywood said Weinstein tried to prey on her & she refused to compromise so her career there got shut down. PC is a different animal. She will do ANYTHING to get where she wants, including love bombing a clueless much younger man for visa & relevance & using her marriage & baby for PR. A relationship that moves that lightning fast always has a Narcissist/Sociopath involved. All goes great as long as the love bombing stage lasts. Same as Harry & Meghan.
Abroad it’s not very easy, I think some people wanted her to audition for roles which I am sure she found demeaning secondly I read somewhere she turned down the female lead in Troy because of the love scenes and I think after doing some small films abroad she went back home. It’s not easy abroad, Priyanka Chopra is still on the fringes of Hollywood , she is yet to be considered for roles the likes of Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone gets. Rekha once said why go to an industry where you will be treated like a servant when you are a queen at home. Simple.
Her outfit is giving me "Hello Mr Ethirkachi" song vibe!
Hahaha yes!
Love FC interviews, amazing line of questions to get the celebrities contribute so effortlessly ❤
Thank you :)
She is absolute beautiful my mum loved her and all of her movies she is a goddess a delight to watch in any movie she is perfect smart educated ❤ my mum passed away and watching her movies is a warm home feeling
aishwarya rai is physically attractive and elegant but shes very cute as a woman ❤ god bless her
How Graceful Flawless and Beautiful is she 😍💚
She looks so beautiful 😍 she dresses stunningly always ❤
Most beautiful woman in the world aish india pound to be aish 🎉❤❤
I always look forward to Cannes interviews done by Anupama.
What a well spoken woman she is❤
Watching fireworks for New Year, lighting Diyas for Diwali, decorating Christmas tree for Christmas, Watching Anupama interview Aishwarya for Cannes! 😅
I love how Anupama frames her questions and puts it forth. Fan of you Anupama
Class Personified and Actor par Excellence 🙌🙌🙌
Sorry, Valentino, you didnt do Ash justice here. She is hiding under all that access fabric. We have seen way greater looks on Ash, this plain sequin garment is not enhancing her beauty.
She must have requested the designer to make a dress to hide the excess flab
She has put on way too much weight to pull off this look!
She needs Giorgio Armani/' Prive, Robert Cavalli, Michael Cinco, Gaurav gupta 💜💜🙏🏽 still waiting for Cannes magic
She is always beautiful ❤️😍 and humble ♥️ #cannesqueenaishwaryarai
She is a true Diva ❤
She's the riri of Bollywood literally
Film companion taking us along for insight into Cannes!
We Fans are waiting for more Romantic Love Movies from You and Vikram together 💜.You both are adorable💘, Vikram and you are made for each other 💙 I love all your movies with Vikram.
Was waiting for this interview! Love Aishwariya Rai!♥️
Ahhh I love her so much. she's an amazing artist 🩷
I am remembering former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha when I see her in this attire. Aish would have been a best actor to do her role than kangana, jaya even recommended aish in one of her interviews for her biopic
She has already done jayalalitha's role in iruvar,a movie by maniratnam
Well said. Jayalalitha used to wear a green upper body cover. Aish is, however, not a botter actor than Kangana. Kangana did a fabulous job in Thalaivi.
Love the way India represents their Cinematic Journey on Cannes
She is unreal... ❤❤
Her dress reminds me of the first film of her iruvar and the song hello mister edirkathchi
As always looking stunning Aish 💙❤😘❤❤❤❤
She could look gorgeous even without wrapping around like a blanket. Now a days she is wrapping a blanket around her.
I would like to wrap my gifts with that green decoration paper 🙂
Good thing about your interview is that u allow the guest to speak and above all u listen it carefully... Thats the quality one should have.
Was waiting for the question - what next? This is where we first got the confirmation for PS. Was hoping for at least a hint or clue of what may be in store next, if anything. I guess there isn't anything line up? :(
Beautiful lady always modest and charismatic.
Whenever I watch her.i feel like giving her hair a brush to the back side....on idea why...it's been ages since she has changed her hair style....has a wonderful face...the hairs make her look sharp rather than soft.
That Awww and Thankyou was too cuteeee🥹❤️
Unlike many actresses who always are immersed in giving gyan to the world as if people are waiting for them to do so, Aishwarya tries to answer the question actually asked to her.
Took her 24 years to become nandini again and the wait was worth it...!
Hum dil de chuke sanam nandini
Devdas parvati
Raincoat neerja neeru
Ps1 nandini
Ps2 nandini......
And one more thing cannes is empty without aishwarya rau bachan and anupama chopra and team film companion...

I almost fell asleep like I was in a science class lol
Graceful !
Best Actress ❤ Gorgeous ❤
Anupama you’re so brilliant at what you do!
Ash is a delight as always 😀
Ash.. Articulates so beautifully.. Well spoken about the Intricacies of film making Such deep thoughts and wisdom from an artiste.. No wonder some find it boring, others will find it interesting as she immerses herself to share her thoughts. It showcases her indepth knowledge right from financial aspects to creative things. ❤ Ash
After this change in the industry it is so amazing to get an interview with her. Hope for more!
But m also wondering what her way ld ve been if this Salman-Drama ld not ve been.
Great actress And she is gorgeous ❤❤❤
She has stopped giving specific answers to specific questions.
She is Queen 👑 Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She will deflect questions and say only what she wants but with qualifications so that the indian media doesn't have a circus!!!
The most popular Indian actress.
Any coverage by Film Companion of Ishanou, the Manipuri Film that is getting screened at the classic section?
Legend of Indian cinema ❤️😍
Her fully covered outfit reminds me of Madam Jayalalitha.
Even in interviews she is doing acting talk like politicians she should be real the way she used to be after marriage like she is jaya bahu❤
Lol abt the Gift wrap comment.
You are a great actress. Provoked captured my attention… I like your work. I would like to see you in white like Barbara Streisand.
100 % She is now so mature as an actor .. she will bring magic to all roles hence forth... and she will remain the most gorgeous movie star ! We are lucky to be in the era of Aishwarya Rai
okay QUEEN slay!!!! Wish more directors knew how to utilize her talents as a storyteller. I wonder how she would be as a director?
Bravo Aish…❤️
This is becoming vintage now. Chopra doing interview with Rai in Cannes. Like nostalgia. Both at it.
She definitely speaks in two different accents. Here she’s more anglicized but she spoke in a heavy South Indian English accent in all PS-2 interviews. No idea why she does that!
I mean, you're detecting a very subtle difference imo, but the answer is: because it's normal to adjust your accent to the people around you. If she's at Cannes, she's talking more to native English speakers, while working on PS2 she was surrounded by South Indians, and then in other situations she'd lean more into other variations. Like, you do it naturally, unconsciously. I guarantee that even if you don't speak English that well in the first place and/or your vocal organs aren't very flexible and you retain a strong accent from your first language even after years of speaking the second one, you will still start pronouncing some words or acquire some changes to your cadence after you're exposed to a certain accent long enough. And for people who happen to be talented at language acquisition, or have put enough work into it (which, Aishwarya is both), you will become more adept at catching differences in accents and replicating them more consciously if you choose to.
I wonder about that too !
it’s quite natural. i speak with a professional accent at work but with my friends i’m less guarded
@@CationnaVery nicely written. Quite empathize.
I loooooooooove Aishwarya Rai....I am her biggest fan....🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰👑👑👑👑👑👑Most beautiful woman in the world ever lived

She should be confortable in her own skin no matter what her size or shape is...now she is covered in every inch of her body. We cant even see her face as she pulls her hair to cover her cheeks. When she was lean she was showing her body and skin and face.
LoL!
