How to make freshly foraged ELDERFLOWER CORDIAL! Easy & Simple.

Sweet smelling gorgeous elderflowers makes this recipe so fun to make. It was January in Cape Town (our summer) and I found an elder bush near a stream where I walk my dogs. When the flowers were fully opened and ready for picking, I was able to sample a few heads. I had to make elderflower syrup / cordial! Sweet and refreshing.

There are so many recipes to make with elderflowers. These delicate little white nectar blossoms taste and smell amazing. I can't wait to make more recipes with them.

I have not heard of Eldeerflower before but loved how you made it! I wish I could try it. It looks good especially adding the lemon to it. Reminds me of lemonade.

It is called a simple syrup and you can add sparkling water to it and/or vodka. 😊
