Finally, I sat down an enjoyed seeing the new addition to your fleet. A good choice of car, at an age and price point where people like to do, their own repairs. I bet the focus is happy too. Are the connections ok for the boot release? I’ll be interested what other steps you take. Take care. :)
Thank you, Matt. I'm glad you like the Mondeo. I suspect the boot issue is mechanical rather than electrical. In the absence of a quick fix, I've found (and filmed) a workaround. I look forward to your next BMW video.
Good clean up and it will start to look nice again ,great to see it has been serviced not long ago so many people start to give up on cars when they get older i really like the mk3 mondeo,s and the later models .
Good afternoon weekend again but feel like I'm not getting better but time will make me better, we are all out tomorrow with the grandkids, you both have a lovely weekend
Great car! Love a Mondeo. And looks like your Mondeo has lots of stories to tell. Can't wait to see what you uncover, fix, and explain. Will be fun and interesting. Thank so much for posting.
2004 is a good year👌 The tailgate release button on the dashboard of Mrs AX's MK1 Focus works intermittently but the key fob button always works 🤔 I'll have to watch more of your Mondeo videos to see how you fix it.
More real world old cars problems (and as often appear to be caused by previous owner(s)). I'd not try anything on the engine or electrical on the car until I had fully charged the car's 12v battery with an appropriate battery charger and in this case changed the batteries in the car's keys (every little helps with electro(/)-mechanical stuff. At last this means you must be getting shot of the green thing otherwise your front 'garden' will begin to look like Steptoe's yard. 😁

Thank you, Matt. Hope you enjoy it.
I can’t wait to see you turn this around. 😎
Thank you, Barry. We need the OBD2 scanner!

@@CarSpyTVthank you. I’m just typing out the subtitles for it. I’m wondering if it’s worth it! Lol
You have a Mondeo! Fantastic. Really enjoyed this video & looking forward to watching future videos about the Mondeo.
Thank you, Anne. The Mondeo Mk3 is one of my favourite cars of this era.

Hi Paul. We're gonna remove the seats to make it easier to clean the carpet, etc. Best wishes from CarSpyTV.

Thanks for update, Ian. Hopefully things will improve soon. Enjoy your time with the grandchildren.

Thank you. This car has certainly lived! More Mondeo videos soon.
Theres a book called "How To Buy The Right Used Car" that will make sure you avoid buying a donkey like that. how much was it?
Oh! Who wrote the book? The Mondeo cost £200 with a few months left on the MOT. I then separately paid a transporter to bring it here.
It may be dirty, but that's good car - or will be with a bit of extra TLC. Be interesting to see how you and it get on.
Thanks Bob. More Mondeo videos to follow.

Sounds a bargain!
We'll see!
That's an impressive amount of dirt. Just as well the boot doesn't open else that would be full too. How will you open the boot?
Yep! The boot is filthy, too. I have a plan to open it. Video to follow.
I enjoyed the video. 👍
I'd like to see what will happen next with it.

Steptoe's yard? You're right. We need a horse and cart! 😁
Absolutely disgusting
Yep! I've never had such a dirty car.
