    This is by far the best "how to" video on this topic that I have seen. We copied and follow your instructions every quilt and they turn out amazing! Thank you SO much for making your content!!!

    I am so jealous. I wish I had room for a longarm. Looks much easier than quilting on my sewing machine

    Hello! I hope you had a fun day. I just got to sit down with my hand quilting and watch your video. I always learn something new from you so thank you very much for that. I hope you have a lovely week ahead. Thank you for posting this video and sharing your time and talent.

      @@aprilhoel1827 I had it since 2017 so it had a long life. A new tablet would have been extremely expensive through Quilt EZ and you have to pay for the service agreement so I upgraded to the QCT software from Grace. I did have to purchase my own Windows tablet and then downloaded their software. I love this arrangement so much better. If my tablet ever dies, then when I get a new one, I can re-download the software again on the new tablet. there's no service agreement cost from Grace.

    This is a great video tutorial! I didn't think about the toggle thing for making sure quilt stays center, or changing how you use the blue clips with Red Snappers. Thank you so very much!

    Nice demonstration! I didn't know that I could release the machine to move it closer so it doesn't have to do it's own traveling which takes a long time to get in position--thanks for the tip.
    Now I'm going to share a tip with you that was a game changer for me. I also use red snappers to connect fabric to leaders instead of using pins. And I also used Grace's quilt clips but they were so hard to put on sometimes because of the position of the red snappers. Leah Day is to be credited for this tip, which is great if you float your top. She did a video where she uses her lowest bar in the front for her backing. She took the red snappers off from the top bar in the front and the quilt sandwich just lays over it as it goes down to the bottom bar. The quilt clips fit over the top bar and hold the quilt sandwich nicely, every time with every turn! I left the velcro on my top bar and just put a strip of batting on it so it wouldn't catch on the fabric. I have quilted 3 quilts since I watched her video and made this change and it has worked great.
    I'm enjoying your videos on your Grace Qnique 21 and QCT software. Gives me confidence that I'm using QCT correctly!

      Thank you! Yes Leah is amazing. It was her tutorials that helped me to feel confident that I could use this system. I've followed her for years. That's a great tip! I'll be sure to look for that video so I can see how she does that. Thank you!

    I have the red snappers and clips. I have given up using the snappers and clips on belly bar. I will try your method.

      @PowerToolsWithThread  2 роки тому

      Yep, I thought I'd have to give them up too but working the belly bar from all sides means I can use them all the time. :)

    Is personal preference that made you tie off at the end of one zone manually and then moved the machine to the centre/lowest stitch manually? I always use the automation, didn’t know it worked any other way. Thanks for the information.

    I don't take a stitch. I use a piece of painter's tape with a circle I've marked in ink and put that under the foot. I use the same piece until it won't stick anymore from lint or whatever.

      Nope! It goes L to R and then R to L. Back and forth. Each zone on this quilt design started differently.
