1) I feel that this sounds better than the nord stage. However, the Stage has a better Keybed. I was thinking of contacting Fatar to switch to a piano nord grand like keybed
2) how do you play so many notes with only 32 note polyphony? How are you managing polyphony?

- That's why when I had a choice I bought not the Nord Stage 3 but the Prophet XL.

The Nord Stage 3 88 has Fatar TP/40. On Prophet XL is TP/8. I have the opportunity to put a TP/40 keybed, there is a master in our city, which already offered me, but I refused. TP/8 is a universal keybed, and in my opinion, is the best semi-weighted keybed, it's so comfortable to play synth, organ, and other stuff. Because I sampled not only pianos, but organs, strings, and more.
- Especially for piano parts, I am thinking to buy a keyboard with mechanics similar to a piano and give a signal through a 5-pin midi cable from Prophet XL. I thought so in LIVE to use it, if you need to play the piano - to play on piano action. If the organ or synth, then to switch my hands to Fatar TP/8 on Prophet XL.
- About polyphony. I use a standard 32 Voice mode which Sequential offered initially. But I have a feeling that there are a little more than 32 voices))))
Do you have tutorials or chords for this Dave Gruisin’s tune?

Вадим, спасибо за отличное исполнение! Посоветуйте, пожалуйста с выбором. Ваш инструмент обладает возможностью загрузки звуков - вы об этом писали под одним видео. Мне бы хотелось приобрести рабочую станцию на 88 взвешенных клавиш, с возможностью загрузки звуков (мечтаю, чтобы инструмент заиграл звуком рояля STEINWAY & SONS), был на 88 клавиш, с взвешенной клавиатурой.

Именно 88 клавиш не знаю с большим объёмом памяти. Вроде как есть Kurzweil K2700 на 3,5 ГБ, на пару роялей хватит, но опять же, я не знаю как там обстоят дела с качеством обработки семплов, есть ли сжатье или нет, сколько слоев громкости от ppp до ff поддерживает. Поддерживает ли вообще?! В общем есть моменты...
Так же есть Yamaha Montage и Korg Kronos на 88 с поддержкой личных семплов но обьем весьма маленький. Но тут уже вопрос в клавиатурах, если между этими двумя, я бы выбрал Kronos 88 с RH3 клавиатурой, ежели Montage 88.
Все что я перечислил я не изучал и не могу с точностью и твердой уверенностью сказать подходят ли они вам или нет, и главное как обстоят дела с памятью и возможностью загрузить многослойный рояль. Правда не знаю.
К своему Prophet XL, на 76 полузвешенных клавиш со временем думаю прикупить добротную клавиатуру на 88 клавиш для фортепианных партии, и подключать через Midi кабель. Нужно сыграть например на synth или органе играю на родной клавиатуре. А если фортепианные пассажи то переключил руки на 88 клавиатуру. Prophet служит мозгом для обеих клавиатур. Это тоже как совет, если вдруг что)))
@@VadimShinnik Midi - это идея. А вышеперечисленные аппараты дорогие для меня. Я бы рассматривал до 200 т. р. А на какие технические характеристики вы обращали внимание, при выборе Prophet XL, чтобы понять, что в него можно загружать многослойные звуки без сжатия? Я к тому, чтобы мне понять, на что обращать внимание в характеристиках инструментов.
Ещё один момент, пересмотрев несколько видео, я правильно понял, что есть программы для ноутбуков, через которые можно заставить инструмент заиграть любыми звуками, в том числе и STEINWAY & SONS?
@@AndreyDekhtyarev В первую очередь обращал внимание на качество звука, то что это гибрид совмещающий давно признанный движок синтезатора с семплами. То-есть выбрав какой-нибудь акустический звук вроде фортепиано его можно синтезировать, например добиться эффекта плавающей пластинки с характерным шумом и многое другое. Конечно когда я увидел доступный объем памяти для загрузки личных семплов я был ошарашен, ведь другие производители и близко такое не предлагают.
Отвечая на второй ваш вопрос - да можно, но нужно учитывать чтоб для качественного звука нужно мощное железо и аудио интерфейс, так же нужно учитывать задержку и нестабильность с которой редко, но можно столкнутся. Есть много программ (плагины) которые передают звучание STEINWAY и не только, но везде есть свои моменты, пока что самый качественный STEINWAY я услышал у Embertone - Walker 1955 Concert D. Но тут не обязательно именно Steinway, это может быть например и YAMAHA-овский рояль если он качественно передает все нюансы звучания, это может быть плагин под названием GARRITAN.
В моем же случае на видео это семпл рояля YAMAHA C7 который я сам семплировал с плагина. У него настройки в данном контексте заточены под POP, а вот по умолчанию звук на котором я играю звучит гораздо мягче, теплее и глубже. Как то так))))

When I ran into a place where I could not determine or find a chord, I sat stubbornly - for hours, or even days, until I found it, but as they say: who seeks - he finds! Who wants to work - he is looking for adaptations, who does not want to work - looking for excuses.
@@VadimShinnik well thats true,it can be a lot of work trying to decipher certain chord lines or passages,or hearing where certain notes on the keyboard are played,some songs are super easy,but when you try stuff like Dave gruisin it can be more challenging
is the prophet x in your opinion now also kind of stagepiano? how do you load this piano into the prophet x? add on?
Not an official add-on. This piano was specially sampled by me for the Prophet X, XL.
And Yes! It can be a remarkable Stage Piano, with the condition that you adapt it.
Observing that many people have a stereotype that it is not Stage Piano ... The most interesting thing is that before buying Prophet, I knew that I would use it exactly as Stage Piano, and as an alternative to the same Nord Stage because thanks to the acclaimed synth engine and the ability to load samples at 24bit / 48khz put it on a completely different level.
I can use simultaneously 6 sounds at the same time in some stuff, more than that, I assign some sounds on the mod wheel or sliders and they appear only then I move the position of them. This also applies to various effects, cut off, LFO's and more.
that’s exactly what i thought…the videos and critics confused me. but now i’m pretty sure. thank you very much…it s a shame that the prophet x is so misunderstood…
