You guys kick ass I’ve been looking fora solid day until I do had seen your video Thank you very much.
Helpful information thank you 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the comment and watching.
If they have hydraulics they have leaks. The curse of machine owners the world over eh. Fortunately this one is easy to get at and diagnose. I have worked on many machines that took hours to get to a troublesome leak. If this doesn't work a brass tapered pipe plug would be next as they are generally self sealing. All the best to you all for 21 my friend. Take care eh.
Thanks for the info Dean.
You must have used a standard cresent wrench to tighten that first one. If you used a Metric Cresent Wrench, it would have been fine.
That's right thanks Daryl.
Same problem I’m having with hydro filling the belly pan hoping this is it. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the comment glad to help
This video helped me alot by confirming it was possible to run with the cab raised to see the leak. Nowhere in the WSM does it say that is OK to do that (for various reasons I assume). Maybe it was too obvious but I assumed it was taboo. I found a leak that had been an issue for months in 5 min. thanks to this video. Incidentally in the same ell fitting and bleeder. I used teflon tape instead, since that is all I had available, and it worked fine.
Thanks for the comment glad to help.
I tried to order one of those metric crescent wrenches, but they only had left handed ones. Oh well.
LOL maybe next time they will have the right one for you thanks Hatch.
I am left handed...does that wrench come in a left handed model?
Hatch said that's all they had lol Grandpadew thank you for the comment my friend.
Lol I’ve actually got a Adustable wrench that says Metric on it lol I’ve been a mechanic for 16 years lol 😂
Thanks for the comment.
Thanks for the video, my svl65 had a plug leak as well several months ago, same issue. Today I got an email from Kubota acknowledging this as an issue and sent a repair bulletin for those 4 test ports. PSB-2021-012
Glad it helped
That metric Crescent wrench turn it over and it becomes SAE Standard .
Love it I think your right lol thanks Jim.
Blue loctite is great sealer I work on cranes and use to seal hyd. leaks all the time.
Thanks for sharing David.
Nice fix. I have a metric wrench just like that. I also have a pair of metric channel locks. Love them both LOL! Thanks for sharing.
and throw in a metric hammer and you are set.
LOL good tools Gerard thanks for the comment.
That's right 280zone.
