Thanks for answering my question! I’ve only recorded for one of my friend’s band, super cheap too, so it seems like that’s a good route to go down until word of mouth starts spreading
Ya buddy! LOVE my WesAudio gear. I have the Dione and Mimas, both are fantastic! Cranborne Audio Camden preamps are VERY VERY good too. I feel like a lot of people don't know about them. On their own they are one of the cleanest preamps available on the market. Absolutely stunningly clean! The cool part is tho every Camden also has what they call a Mojo circuit, it has 2 flavors of saturation. Thump and Cream. You select which flavor you want then use the Mojo knob to dial in the amount you want. So it can go from totally clean (fully bypassed Mojo circuit) to full on gritty distortion! The Thump side is very reminiscent of a Neve style preamp to me. The Cream side has more of a tube sound. Absolutely fantastic and super affordable. Highly recommend!
Merry Christmas, Jeremy! I didn't see a link for the 1176/LA2A. I like that combo! Also, have you ever tried a kick drum thunder tunnel? Results vary, depending on choice of mic(s) and how dense the materials such as cushions and weighted blankets.
You and I wear similar necklaces, probably an omen. I want help with the record I'm working on but I don't know what kind of help yet. Can we have a conversation about the demos?

Do t forget the deadening hack of standing a mattress up in your corners
Theres a gross factor of using used mattresses... totally works tho
When I had to record in the bedroom I just flipped the while bed up on to the wall

Yes! In rock records a la thrice circa survive… anything big. I love it
@RecordingStudioLoser I've had some fun in years past with the tunnel. It's a big kick, that's for sure!
Which box/compressor were you talking about in particular? You meant ssl 2 bus?
From Wes audio? Either the pandora/ or the Rhea

Absolutely dude. Hit me up sometime after Christmas. I’ve got lots of down time
Distressor vs FATSO vs UBK FATSO??
Been so long since I’ve used a normal fatso. But the ink fatso is sooooo good.
