I enjoy your style of videos, so if it's not too much, please continue. The commitment to run 1000 rounds might make an interesting topic but that gets expensive.
Talking about newer not always being better. My old Walther PK380 never fails me. No malfunctions ever. Granted it’s a single stack 380 but I trust it to go bang every time.
💯agree with just a single failure i wouldn't carry it either. I plan on getting the long slide version of this so I'll definitely be looking for the same issue
The long slide is great. Im at 800 rounds with no issues at all. I wanted to see if it had the same issue as the original MC9. Have not cleaned or lubed it yet.@@averagemarksman
That stoppage was 100% on the fact that the gun hadn’t been cleaned or oiled since the factory. Along with a little bit of user induced slide lock in my opinion. I’m not a canik guy at all and don’t own a single one so I’m not defending this gun but that stoppage was not on the gun at all.
Dirty? Possibly. User error? Negative. (I do cause problems but it’s on video) The slide was locked without the slide stop being engaged. I had to rack the gun multiple times to get the slide to drop. That’s an internal malfunction. I’ve done this test on guns for years off film. The gun shouldn’t be anywhere near dirty enough to have a malfunction.
Agreed to an extent, but I also consider other pistols like the PX4 Storm that had no maintenance done for thousands of rounds and never malfuncioned with LTT. Hell, everything is subjective and I think we can agree that the Canik is a quality pistol, especially at the price point. Any responsible gun owner will always maintain his/her weapon daily like I did in the 82nd Airborne Infantry.
@@rlaw2 I have it already but was curious if this was a contender. Maybe I ll pick up the Shield Carry Comp this month instead or my first revolver this month.
@ (shield plus 3.1”) I like the trigger, the grip, and the various magazine sizes (10,13,15). Most importantly the gun tracks really well. The Shield Carry Comp is a nice pistol. I’m not a fan of the crazy slide serration or the longer slide.
Love the videos! Keep going man! 💯
@@joeyh.804 thanks, Joey.
Nick, Thank you very much for keeping it real and honest. You and your family have a beautiful and blessed week. LORD GOD Bless and stay vigilant.
Thanks for always watching and commenting!
Only 100 to go! 👍

It does expensive. However, building the channel is the goal and money has to be spent. Ideally the support increases over time.
He likes to shoot them bullets 🤠
@@averagemarksmanI hear you, and you are much appreciated. Like and sub today
@@TheDrew718 thanks, man. I appreciate it.

Thanks, Doug.
Again another great video. Looking forward to the next gun video.

Trusting it to go bang every time is the most important part.

I wish I would have picked up the long slide version to test it out.

@ that’s awesome.
@@FoHoCo it looks nicely balanced I got high hopes for it
I'm sure Canik isn't going to make a current firearm in 40s&w but I'd love a TP9 series in 40 ...
Probably not but you never know!
Put on your list of FUN guns to shoot Bul Armory Axe Hatchet fs ported.
I’ll add it to the list.
Hard to follow up that xd mod 3 videos very impressive

Interesting how the slide stop is HARD to move; just like my last SW'$.... Maybe once you clean it, oil it and leave it w slide back.
@@talega1 it could use a bit of love. I’ve had a ton of stuff guns over the years. The weird part is it’s not always stuff. I don’t like it.
Would you carry this over your Shield Plus?
I wouldn’t. I prefer the Shield Plus.
Get the Shield+
@@averagemarksmanwhat makes you choose the shield +? Debating between this mc9ls and the shield + carry comp
