Truly it’s a lack of sex education in schools with proper scientific based information on abortions,pregnancies, and sexual diseases.

    having an abortion was still the hardest choice i’ve ever made even though that pregnancy was actually killing me.
    i have a condition that treats pregnancy as an infection. i got pregnant with an IUD and using other protection. at 7 weeks i became septic and was rushed to the hospital where i clinically died for two minutes. that pregnancy killed me and it was still a hard decision.
    women don’t just stop by a clinic one day.

The reason there's such an assault on people's right to choose is because people who believe as you do, contrary to scientific facts disputing those beliefs, vote for representatives who make decisions based on those misinformed beliefs. If you think it's murder, don't have one. Imposing that belief on others is not any more acceptable than someone imposing their religious beliefs on you.

      The pro life movement is short on providing proper and adequate care for people they convince to keep their pregnancies.
      Not every abortion is a choice of the pregnancy carrier, sometimes it is environmental, genetics, especially multi chromosome abnormalities that a fetus doesn't continue... It becomes a miscarriage, so where do they stand on that? There are more miscarriages (if I am not wrong on the statistics of pregnancies that results in miscarriages) than selective abortions.
      The pro life movement only shows up when it's selective for medical or personal choices.

Holding up signs to raise awareness on the life inside of a women's womb is not forcing anyone to give birth, you still have the right to choose. And if a woman who aborted a child is outside a clinic protesting she's not doing it for herself, she's out speaking up for the child that will suffer. She has already gone through emotional pain and regret and now is trying to prevent other women from committing the same mistake.

It is the same reason some people find it tough to date outside of their race or to “come out” if they are gay. If society labels something as bad - even if you personally have no problem with it - the decision will be tough because you have to deal with the backlash. Evident from this comment thread.

I did, however, suffer so much trauma, heartbreak, and devastation thanks to my then boyfriend (who begged me to not “kill his seed”), and when that didn’t work, he began to threaten and harass me; during and after my abortion, it was HIM and it was my environment, having been born and raised in an ignorant, puritanical, religious, misogynistic, patriarchal society that caused me excruciating, undeserved anguish and suffering. I was afraid to tell anyone.
      Plus, my then boyfriend was a black man. Most of the men if my family are racist hillbillies who absolutely loathe to see a white woman with a black man. Killing your unborn child is never an act of kindness. What this and all videos should be doing is expressing the need for teaching basic Christian morality to children starting from an early age, that sex outside marriage is taboo and grievously immoral. If our media spread that message with the same energy they put forth to condemn even the slightest whiff of what they call racism, the world would be so much better off.

      @cathybr1762 2 роки тому +3

      Yes I still remember why I made that choice and even though it was not what I would have preferred in a perfect world but back then at 18 my world was far from perfect and just about as the exact opposite of perfect as anyone could get. Maybe you have been in a very abusive relationship or maybe not but not only was the abuse which contributed to having other health issues and even mental health issues to the point of being hospitalized because of suicidal thoughts and tendancies, depression, anxiety and panic attacks. I can not say that it was totally the other person's fault because I should have left earlier than I did. But no one else knows the choices I had to choose from nor the fear that became a constant daily part of my life back then either. People never know what goes on behind closed doors because usually a Narcissist is so good at playing the part of a good person be female or male because they have been living the lie all or most of their lives but definitely their adult life. When I finally did leave it was because I was either going to die if I stayed or die trying to leave. It was not only about me but my year old son. Which was not the abuser's child. But would have been the father of the one that I didn't have and the one who would have been treated better than my son because it would have been his own child and blood. And before anyone else or you say anything about about getting pregnant so young. The first time I missed one pill on my first pack of birth control and followed the instructions for what you should do when you missed one. The second time the Dr was trying me out on a different kind of birth control and obviously it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure the rest out. My body doesn't do well with pregnancy either but at that time I didn't know that. Like Steve Jobs has said you can piece together the pieces of things in your life by going back through your past not trying to piece it together by looking to the future cause it hasn't happened yet. And I still stand firm in my decision being the right and best decision I could have made considering everything that I had to consider. And with my choice when my time comes to a end in this thing called life I'll have to answer for my choice about it but I prayed many days and nights for an answer to help me with it too. Could be I didn't hear, feel , sense or know what the answer was or for whatever reason I wasn't able to get better clarity on or of an answer who knows but I never did. But to this day I still have regrets of the little life I took not only from it itself but the same one I have left a scar in my own heart with all of the what if's or why it couldn't have been this way instead you or anyone else don't need to worry your pretty little minds about who has put me through hell and back the most over the entire situation because I can promise you and everyone else I've took care of that all by myself and the thoughts in my head are worse and resilient non stop at making me feel like a worthless piece of shit for doing that even though I would have still ended up being a single parent of not one but two had I not made the choice I did living below poverty level based on the statics and my income which would have ultimately taken what some people consider a normal part of life like going to the dentist and many other things from my son who did not have a choice about anything. But I was one of those who made too much money for assistance supposedly but it was not enough to live on for a family of 2 and absolutely not for 3. I am in no way trying to make anyone have pity or any other type of sorrow for my life or anything else about how things were either. With that said let he who is perfect cast the first stone on me. But just remember that you don't have a right to judge me or anyone else either because you don't sit that high and God's not looking for a replacement either. I won't be asked about your sins when you die and you won't have to answer for mine either. There's always more than one answer to a question too but we all came here to learn our own life lessons and how to come from a loving heart and have compassion for others whether we understand where they're coming from or the person they are no matter what they are or going through. I'm not an expert on the Bible or anything like that but I'm pretty sure it says somewhere in it the letters are written in red too if I'm not mistaken and are supposed to be the things that Jesus said himself or from God bring told by Jesus that you would never know what type of person he would come back as so to be mindful of he could possibly come back as a Leper you know the one who has leprosy but of course not doing this day and age it would have to be more aligned with this day and time now. But I do tend to believe that means be careful of those you pass judgement on it could be the one you call your own higher power and whatever you call it. There's several different names a higher power is called in different types of religion, belief systems, rituals or followings for different ancestors, nationality, race, ethnicity or anything else you can call them don't forget to add Buddhism, Hinduism either. I didn't have any other children after my decision either. In my own mind I didn't feel like I had a right to have another one after I ended the life of another one who didn't have a choice about it but I punished myself enough for me and everyone else who could possibly have anything to say about my decision too. I am my own worst enemy I don't need anyone else to help out with that for any and all of the choices and decisions I've ever made because I do own my own shit and admit to making some mistakes along the way but who hasn't made mistakes please stand up and I will call you out for the liar you are. No one is perfect and it is actually an unattainable concept to reach because every time you think you have gotten to being perfect the bar and standards are raised higher. Kinda like the way of being or having an awakening and being enlightened I don't believe that you are ever been finished with being enlightened during this lifetime on Earth now. You could be enlightened but there are so many levels of being enlightened it's not possible to do them all during our lifetime existence of the 3D world we're living in right now during this here and now. It's out of our realm of perspective we don't have the consciousness and awareness of how much bigger picture that concept of the Universe and beyond to allow our minds to process the concept to think of that massive scale of things. Some people still do not believe or understand that we are a spiritual being living a human experience and going through different things to learn for our souls growth and help our souls evolve to have compassion for others because our souls already know how to love unconditionally but choose to come here to learn about different emotions otherwise the soul does not know or understand how emotions feel or affect us. And some will never know about being a spiritual being or the gifts we each have or many of the other great things and abilities we have. We are all teachers and students in someone's life lessons and we all signed up for the things we go through. There's always free will but with that there's cause and effect and consequences for your actions too.

    "The unborn" are a convenient group of people to advocate for. They never make demands of you; they are morally uncomplicated, unlike orphans, they don't need money, education, or childcare; they allow you to feel good about yourself without any work at creating or maintaining relationships; and when they are born, you can forget about them, because they cease to be unborn. It's almost as if, by being born, they have died to you. You can love the unborn and advocate for them without substantially challenging your own wealth, power, or privilege, without re-imagining social structures, apologizing, or making reparations to anyone. They are, in short, the perfect people to love if you want to claim you love Jesus but actually dislike people who breathe

I also don't agree with people who use religion as a battering ram for all choices people make that they personally don't agree with, who are the first people to blame God when something bad happens in their lives, they are. God created, God loves and God forgives that's it. If people spent more time self reflecting and less time judging and pointing fingers this world would be a better place. I'm pro choice, if any woman is making this decision, know that it is not an easy or unemotional decision they are making, they beat themselves up enough as it is, just leave them alone, they know what is best for them so please just leave them alone and show them love and support. Religion and law should not mix.

      Hello- well to answer your question directed to the pro life people - what are we doing with the orphaned children, I got a chuckle out of your question because here I am at 56 years young and both of my parents passed away and I miss them terribly. Thus, I could qualify for being an old orphaned child! LOL! For almost 16 years, I’ve taken care of hundreds of children as a recess duty teacher. That is one way of taking care of multiple children. They start school around 6-7 years old. There are many things that I do in that job to help the children and keep them safe. It’s a great job. Meanwhile, I’ve had 5 children including a handicapped child that has been hospitalized many times. Once I spent Mother’s Day visiting at the hospital. Me and my husband have done everything to keep him alive for the past 28 years. Also, being pro life can also extend to the animal kingdom. I’ve helped our beautiful male cat survive a type of blockage that required surgery. The Lord gives us all different assignments and opportunities on the earth and we do it with a joyful heart to glorify the Lord. We also hosted a foreigner in our home. So whatever the Lord gives us, we pray that we will have a good account of our lives when our earthly time is done and ready to face the Lord.

Do you believe that there is life involved? IF that is what you mean, then, and when you do make THE choice can you ever forget it? Everyone has the right to make decisions good or bad. Black lives definitely matter. Just my 2 cents. Seeing DEMS argue to be able to abort babies at 41 weeks when the mother is dilating blew my whole mind. Ive had an abortion,its never easy and so I decided to wait for my body to naturally terminate. The night my miscarriage began I began bleeding heavy. It became worse and I was hemorrhaging.. when my husband found me I barely had a pulse. In the emergency room they performed a D&C, it saved my life. With the laws now in place I would have been left to bleed out. People who have never been in others situations should stfu and stay in their lane. OP talks about personal responsibility for the woman. Clueless. I was a married mother with children on birth control. How much more "responsible" can one be? Tears? OP talks about tears after the fact. What about the unwanted child who cries for affection and is beaten in return? What about the tears of a hungry child? What about the tears of the unwanted child left to the state and being raised in the system? SMDH, being personally responsible means recognizing when the choice to bring another human being into this world is the right time. FFS Benjamin Franklin published herbal recipes for abortion. Forced pregnancy is wrong.

      @@tperk2042 D&C is not the same an abortion and IS allowed in every single state. I’m in my own lane sweetheart. Perhaps you need to stay in yours? You rant about children that are abused, neglected, etc. Okay, and? The PARENTS should not be having promiscuous sex. Point blank! That’s how you end up with neglected kids who are in and out of foster care. I know first hand, thanks 😘 Those same children are a result of men and women who don’t care about the irresponsible choices they make now, they’re more concerned about what feels good in the moment so save me your sob story.
