The saddest part about the final bosses is Daigo. The entire events of Yakuza 3 led him to this point, his admiration and respect for Kiryu put him down a path where he'd have to do dark deals to try and stay afloat.
@@duongnhdn it is, I kinda hastily added it to my comment when I remembered a lot of people would only know that one and not the original hence the poor word choice. They are slightly different stories though, not a complete 1:1 remake (setting/ethnicity changes aside).
@@TheWehzyThat’s comfortably just a you thing lol. Definitely not a normal time to beat LAD that’s longer than it takes to 100%the game. And about LAD being bigger I mean it probably is map and game play wise but Yaluza 5 is comfortably the longer game the 100% for LAD is about 100 hrs. Whilst Yakuza 5 is comfortably 150 hrs. The speed runs also have an hour and half difference.
Date in a helicopter is a Yakuza staple at this point
The only protagonist

"Nishiki's gonna come back in Yakuza 7"
Who's gonna tell her? Lol
ngl until the post credits I was seriously thinking the writers just forgot Majima was still in prison.
Sugiuchi, a yakuza infiltrated the police.
Arai, a police infiltrated the yakuza.
Talking about peak writing.
i mean that's basically just the plot of both Infernal Affairs *and* The Departed
@@TheJokerAkaCirque Isnt the Departed just an Amercian remake of Internal Affairs?

"What are we, some kind of *Yakuza 4?"*
This is peak!
Yakuza 5 is a big game, resting is a good decision.
It's probably the biggest game in the series, so it's definitely a good idea to take a bit of a break first, yeah
@@kev1nno LAD is way bigger. Took me 120h for one playthrough.
