I'd like to see you play Scar Tissue... beautiful bass, a lot different from other bass parts for RHCP songs. During the guitar solos I like the bass part at least just as much. Amazing combo of high and low notes.

As they get faster and more complicated bass can often be more difficult to play than electric guitars which can be optimized for playability relatively easily.
Martyr9991 As a guitarist that went over to bass, the the size and string thickness was really not a factor. You don't need much practice to get used to them. What really is fundamentally different is the right hand, and learning how pluck with your fingers, slapp, popp, dubble-thumb and what not takes years.
