I saw Chris and Herb perform at the L.A. Street fair in the early 80s. I stood by their stage as they played a song I fell in love with. The only thing I remember about the song is the ending of each verse. The words (at the end of each verse) were, "Every time I __________________ I fall back in love again." That's all I remember of the song. It was "Every time I (something, something, something) I fall back in love again. Could anyone help me out and tell me what song they were singing? Thanks.
Lifelong Byrds' fan but have come to appreciate Chris Hillman's music more and more, especially with Herb Pedersen
criminally underrated artist
Mr. Hillman wrote this beautiful, wistful song. Thank you. I have seen her face. "Saw" is a better choice. As years have past.

Wonderful post. Thanks
Beautiful stuff.

THANKS for this great song. Chris' solos pale next to McGuinn's original, but a valiant attempt.
