Well, that was fun. :) The reason why XenoDragon's Vanguard got targetted so heavily is because of the basic AI target prioritization. Because of the amount of firepower among other factors, the other ships all go 'that's the biggest threat, target that first!'
Was this perhaps recorded a while back? Some submissions didn't make it in the vid and some weren't the most updated. Sure we'll have more in the future, just hope any retrofits get used. The series has been really fun to build for; I thank you for encouraging the viewer engagement.
We will do these types of vids regularly in the series, and of course retrofits are allowed! I encourage everyone to view, revise, and improve. I am glad to see everyone engaging with the channel!
Stone is nice and cheap, kept the price down, but also low buoyancy which helped set the waterline. Other reason it is survivable is the lack of APS magazines to detonate, just the ammo boxes to feed those torpedoes. Also no heavy armor used.
I always applaud innovation and unconventional approaches. Well done!

jokes aside tho, watching someone learn from scratch really takes me back to my own olden days 1000 hours of playtime back. The nostalgia is certainly fun. Keep up the good work!
The revised Vanguard looks phenomenal, real smooth turrets!
Things like the Kobold is also what I wished to see - Something not distinctly WWII but still employs the same-ish tech.
That is one of my favorite ships I've ever seen in game! Love seeing different people's styles emerge
Fun video, I look forward to submitting some of my own designs when the community discord goes public! So far, I have only finished my destroyer and my battleship is not yet finished but I definitely will send them over when I get the chance. I sure hope they can hold their own in battle lol!

75k for the destroyer, 150k for the Cruiser, 350k for the battleship.
WW2 tech, Meaning Cannons and Torps, would you also allow Mines and Unguided Rockets, given those were around?
And finally, how would you feel about Battleships, Cruisers and Destroyers, that were intentionally designed to be submersible?

Thank you, I think I Will. I think a few of my ships already meet your cost requirements, but ill have to check, some might need reclassifiying, I belive my Frigate Class is about equal to your Battle Ships. If none meet up, ill build somthing spesifficaly for your series.@@aquilaecompany
just finished the Dropo class destroyer not my best work but not the worst
If it floats and shoots its a win
it looks like the tidal class isnt firing in many scenes i am not sure if this is an contruction error or due to destruction of vital components

Yeah, sometimes the torpedoes just stop aiming, doesn't happen in some tests, happens in others... so I haven't narrowed it down yet.
@@PerfectDeath4 Maybe the local weapon controller got taken out?
Looks like the turret is catching on the superstructure to me.
@XenoDragon52 it honestly could be that my turret restrictions are too tight to stop it from shooting the superstructure. Needs the control AI to broadside more.
weird question, but what's with all the spiky blocks on the floor inside the hulls of many of these ships? doesn't seem very useful as armor in that location and orientation?
Can't speak for everyone, but it is most likely a cost saving measure- cheaper than full blocks

Can you post these designs to the steam workshop? Wanna test my own builds against these.
