I have a question if my tax refund was processed on the 11th of February but accepted by the IRS on the 14th February but I have no transcript for the tax year 2021. What is the reason for no transcript available?

For one week it said it was being processed with TT 152 and 1 bar...then Fri before last it changed to still being processed with no bars and no TT 152.... Please help I am so frustrated
152 means that there is no action needed on your part but that the IRS needs time to review your return. Often this comes when you claimed an earned income tax credit or child tax credit, but can occur on all returns - it just means the IRS is processing something which takes some time. Expect 21 days after you file for the average taxpayer to receive their refund however there will be additional delays based on the types of credits you claimed and the IRS backlog. Check your transcript as I show in this video , which provides more details than the where's my refund tool.
You are still under that 21 day normal processing time, so you're still a bit early - anticipate a bit longer before getting frustrated with the wait time since you just filed on 2/2

My fiance still hasn't received his refund from last year for 2020 taxes.. in the beginning he was able to use the where's my refund tool and it just kept saying processing.. now the tool won't even let him get any info.. as if it doesn't recognize the information anymore. I filed 1/29 electronically and WMR showed processing for 21 days then went to a message saying “delayed beyond normal timeframe” so I did some research and decided to sign up and check my transcripts. I have the code 570 & 971 at the bottom of my transcript but WMR still reads “We are sorry for the delay but we are still processing” with Tax Topic 152. I also have a cycle code 20220705 with code 150 on transcript. What does this mean?

Your cycle code means that they process updates to your return weekly so things will be slower. Your 570 means there is more information they are waiting on receiving - this can be a wide variety of things such as info from an employer, or other reasons I like at I the. Jdek & you'll need to look up the 971 and 150 in the PDF I link in the video description. Check your transcript next Friday for updatesm

570 represents additional pending liability which is explained in this video basically means the IRS is awaiting more information on their end with no action needed from you. When you see code 571 or 572 added, it will continue processing. 3/7 is the date that the ITS anticipates the processing hold to go away.

Ok then 570 as I cover in this video means IRS needs to wait on continuing processing your return until they receive information on their end. No action is required by you, but you'll need to wait for them to continue - they have given an estimated date of 3/7 as when processing will continue.

Yes you must - you owe taxes on your unemployment and the EDD issues tax forms to the IRS. Leaving this out will hit you with a penalty and interest and is tax evasion.

This is related to my last year’s return which got approved around first week of September but a week before my bank account got closed so I didn’t get the refund till now. I called irs they said it will be sent to the address mentioned.. I waited for another 10 weeks and called them again and that time they told me that they didn’t get returned cheque from my bank therefore I called my bank to validate who informed me that they had returned it second business day so at this moment I have lost track of it.
I received ltr 4464c ? I didn’t know I had to put in the information about the interest irs paid me I think that’s why I got the letter what do I do I amend my return ? Last year was the first time ever that I received interest I had no I idea I had to put it on my return😭😰

Please do not call us until 60 days after the letter date and only if you haven't received your refund or heard from us by then. We recommend you review your return for any errors and file a corrected or amended return to correct the information.
Don’t amend anything right now it will take longer just be patient it will be resolved soon it normally doesn’t take 60 days it took a week last year for me after they adjusted my return
570 means IRS needs for info before they can continue processing - no action needed from you but the date you see there is their estimated date they will obtain what's needed and continue processing.
Hey Ginny the IRS sent my direct deposit but I put wrong account number bc I got 2 numbers backwards.. It's my PayPal account that I've used for years but PayPal can't even tell me if it was refused and the Wells Fargo N.A. don't know either.. 152 is a genetic message that comes when you are approved for a refund but IRS is processing your return still.it does not give any additional insight, but appears during processing.
My husband can't get passed the login page. It'll tell him it's redirecting him to Internal Revenue Service but then it takes him back to the login page 🤦 I did my login and it redirecting me to the same page but it left me there, unlike his it takes him back to the login page every time. He can't get passed that 🤦

Congress did not propose a tax break. So no, there was nothing to approve.
Actually you don’t have to pay taxes for unemployment. That’s what they told me on turbo tax . Z(California)

Mine has code 570 with a date of 03-07-2022 what does this mean
570 represents additional pending liability which is explained in this video basically means the IRS is awaiting more information on their end with no action needed from you. When you see code 571 or 572 added, it will continue processing. 3/7 is the date that the ITS anticipates the processing hold to go away.

Ok then 570 as I cover in this video means IRS needs to wait on continuing processing your return until they receive information on their end. No action is required by you, but you'll need to wait for them to continue - they have given an estimated date of 3/7 as when processing will continue.

So my Code Explanation says No tax return filed but I know I filed on 2/2/22. And the Code 846 - Refund Issued date says 3-26-21.. what does all this mean? Plus I have Tax Topic 152 but I didn’t claim anything.
Filed 2/10 says its being delayed and have code 150 with amount of 1068 and date of 4/4 and have no idea what any of it means.
I filed mine 2/5/2022 and still no update just says. “We received your refund and it’s processing” before that it said “we received it and it’s still being processed a date will be available when ready” or something like that.

Hi Ginny, I have a quick question, my 846 code does not show the full amount as my turbo tax refund amount when filed, in fact it’s significantly lower. Does that mean my refund has been reduced to what the 846 code amount is?

Yes that sounds like the IRS has made adjustments in your refund either due to debts owed or miscalculations/stimulus claimed incorrectly, etc.

im doing it with turbo tax and i worked last year got 4k and i got unemployment 16k, had taxes taken out from my unemployment , when i try to file both of them it says i owe $76 bucks but if i remove unemployment it gives me back $900? Do i have to file my unemployment im from california
Yes you must - you owe taxes on your unemployment and the EDD issues tax forms to the IRS. Leaving this out will hit you with a penalty and interest and is tax evasion.

Yes they will likely take 21 days to finish processing however some may take longer depending on the types of credits you claimed etc.

Who are you filing thru? Turbotax asked me if I received all or if I'm owed stimulus money. It also mentioned a form that should've been sent to you via mail if you are owed money

What if mine says " No tax return filed"?
I don’t know if you can guide me what to do next …but I am almost losing hope to get any help from IRS regarding this. I have already called 3 times but every time their responses are different. This is related to my last year’s return which got approved around first week of September but a week before my bank account got closed so I didn’t get the refund till now. I know it’s not their fault but I wish if I could get any direction regarding this.

@@ginnysilver thanks for your reply.. since my bank account got closed even though my refund was sent as a direct deposit to my account I was not able to get that.. I called irs they said it will be sent to the address mentioned.. I waited for another 10 weeks and called them again and that time they told me that they didn’t get returned cheque from my bank therefore I called my bank to validate who informed me that they had returned it second business day so at this moment I have lost track of it.

I received ltr 4464c ? I didn’t know I had to put in the information about the interest irs paid me I think that’s why I got the letter what do I do I amend my return ? Last year was the first time ever that I received interest I had no I idea I had to put it on my return😭😰
How did you file your taxes? Your software or tax preparer will be able to prepare the amendment

Don’t amend anything right now it will take longer just be patient it will be resolved soon it normally doesn’t take 60 days it took a week last year for me after they adjusted my return

Is it normal to have multiple different cycle codes? They all end in 05 but the 2 numbers before that are all different

570 means IRS needs for info before they can continue processing - no action needed from you but the date you see there is their estimated date they will obtain what's needed and continue processing.

Hey Ginny the IRS sent my direct deposit but I put wrong account number bc I got 2 numbers backwards.. It's my PayPal account that I've used for years but PayPal can't even tell me if it was refused and the Wells Fargo N.A. don't know either.. And I've called all the Irs numbers with no luck..I just really want to know if it came back from the bank and if they are going to send mea check..? My transcripts just says it was deposited on the 24th and my numbers saved 846 deposited so I don't know what to do I just want to know if they got my money back.. anywhere I can look on the transcripts to see if they got it returned?
Yes if bounced they will mail a check
I'm sure this would eventually be reflected in your transcript but I can't say how long for them to update that.

What code 152 mean. I got accepted February second it said it was being processed now it's saying it's being delayed. Hopefully it come on the 24th
152 is a genetic message that comes when you are approved for a refund but IRS is processing your return still.it does not give any additional insight, but appears during processing.

My husband can't get passed the login page. It'll tell him it's redirecting him to Internal Revenue Service but then it takes him back to the login page 🤦 I did my login and it redirecting me to the same page but it left me there, unlike his it takes him back to the login page every time. 152 is a normal generic message which simply means you are receiving a refund but the IRS is still processing this.
