I wasn’t there the day you came but in the days following it was a huge wake up call to our office and people understanding and respecting what it means to exercise constitutional rights!! It shocks me how many people don’t know their own basic rights. I’m a paralegal and I work with attorneys who didn’t understand that you are allowed to come in and video public employees in the course of their duties. 🙄 I helped set some of my coworkers straight in days following your visit. It was complete meltdown mode. I’m happy to say I think most of them finally get it but it took a lot of meetings and talking before they finally understood.

You handled that like a boss. Staff were rude and completely unhelpful. The town manager is a two-face rat. Cops all up tight about nothing and dishing out directives. Chief making wildly stupid remarks like "I have no idea what is going on here" and responding "Not yet" to your questioning "Am I under arrest". Obviously the answer should have been 'No'.
