I love how dramatic and purposefully nostalgic this whole song and video was, he really committed to the genre that he loves and has wanted to do and I'm pumped for him! Also, the amount of great songs that Seventeen just refuses to release..... pain. Like the ideal cut stages... PURPLE ROSE????? all the hhu songs? MMO, What's The Problem, Sukyo, Un Haeng il Chi. That whole hhu stage. My proposal to seventeen is, hey y'know you don't need to promote them, it's alright, just release them. And if they aren't keeping theme with the sound you're going for rn, let's make a new name to release it under, we'll find it, we'll figure it out, promise. pls. We can make it math, we can even incorporate math operations to find your new names if you want. lol no honestly though, I'm glad Vernon's able to have fun with this and really control the creative direction of the stuff he puts out. I'm really excited to see what everyone does with the rest of the solos. I do hope they do a few a year so we can get to the full thirteen. I'm really curious what each members sound choice/preference is and what style/genre they will all go with. Thanks for the reaction!
I love what you said there about the progression from Spider to Ruby and now to Black Eye. I can’t even wrap my brain around how that’s gonna go all the way to the last track of the TTT series. I just know every song in there would be big, unique, well thought of in terms of composition and concept, and would perfectly highlight each member’s individuality. I’m reaaaalllly excited for Seventeen’s music in the next years to come.

I love how many people felt nostalgic listening to this, it's like some sort of universal experience to have an emo phase lol. It fits right well with 2000s pop punk/pop rock playlists and it's actually amazing how fast people made one, so now I'm banging my head again to some Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan, MCR songs. If there's one thing I'm confident tho, I'm sure Vernon would always create music and it's just a matter of "when" he will release it. :) Happy new year, guys! Thanks for this video. 💛
