Would you choose the Standard or Wood version of the A3? Lower budget 4060 or 4080 Super? Read our full write up and performance data here 👉 www.mrmattlee.com/post/lianlia3wood
Finally an open front ! This makes it a great alternative to the AP201 / D31 / D41 Mesh. One little suggestion : in this configuration, the CPU cooler should pull fresh air from the rear, meaning the fan should be on the opposite side. I have validated this with my AP201s.
The only thing that I'd like to see a bit more in your vids is the cable management side. I think that one of the most important part of why your builds look amazing is because your cable management is excellent. I know it might disrupt a bit the flow of the video, but it would be nice to see how you solve this part, which to me is probably one of the hardest when it comes to building in smaller cases. Do you recommend using custom cables to alleviate the pain of management? If so, which ones do you get usually? I think we don't have a Cablemod substitute in the UK, or at least I couldn't find one. And most of the time Amazon doesn't have a lot of cablemod stuff. Great video as always, cheers!
Do you enjoy this style of video more? Brief intro talking then back to the silent build? I’ve been experimenting recently with videos as you probably gathered haha 😅
@Mr_Matt_Lee yes! That gives us an idea why the parts are used, what kind of build u intended to put together and some product knowledge like I only got to know today ProArt has 3 different Rtx40s😄
A3 is the current MFFPC best choice for any mid sized PC that needs to be presentable in a furnished room. Got a white version lined up and will probably get the wood front accessory later if I decide to put it in a more prominent place of the room 😊
Once again, brilliant! If I'm to change anything, I would replace the Scythe Mugen with NH-D15 with black and brown fans which matches color better while hiding the cables. I can sacrifice the RAM lights.
I was debating with my custom o11 Mini (middle bar removed) and exact this case with glass side panel, I was forgot and choose to stick with my o11 but man.. I'm now thinking again to swap 😁
I have a desktop PC based on a Ryzen 5 8600G on an ASUS TUF A620M housed in an ASUS Prime AP201. It looks very similar to your setup. I put it under the desk. I tested it with a Radeon RX 7800 XT, but the heat was dissipated through all the holes and created an unpleasant stream of hot air under my desk. The price is really good, only CHF 600 with the APU only.
Another fantastic build! Thanks for the GPU insights-such a small detail, but very relevant here. On a related note, I’ve noticed you tend to use NVIDIA GPUs in most of your builds. As someone new to PC building, I’ve been researching the differences between AMD and NVIDIA GPUs, and now I’m torn between an ASUS RX 7800 XT and an ASUS RTX 4070 (specific variant still undecided). The idea of stepping up to an RX 7900 XT/XTX or an RTX 4080 is tempting, but the price jump makes me hesitate, and I’m still not fully decided. If you have the time and interest, I’d love to hear your perspective on how you approach choosing between GPU brands. Thanks, Matt, for all the incredible builds and content this year. You’ve shared so much knowledge and inspiration. Here’s to all the thermal paste you’ve applied and, of course, the coffee that’s fueled your creativity!
Would be amusing to watch you build a beige box from the 90s for April Fools. Something with a lot of unnecessary lines and dots, a turbo button, floppy drive and 1x CD-ROM.
This is making me rethink my first computer build. I'd rather use a Ryzen 7 9800x3d and the appropriate motherboard if it'll work. Beautiful small form factor build.
I've been thinking about building in this case for awhile and it might come to fruition this holiday. Do you suggest ATX power supplies for the mATX case? and I've been thinking about using the Thermalright Frozen Prism 360 Aio. Any thoughts or suggestions(asking anyone that reads this) Edit: I'm working with a Ryzen 7700x, B650M-A AX II mobo, and, ironically, a ProArt 4070 Super OC
🙌 smaller form cases do have their perks, but sometimes sacrifices have to be made depending on your own requirements. Glad you’re enjoying the content though 😄
It’s not that simple though because of the front mounted PSU. Shortening the case would bring the PSU significantly closer to the air cooler 😭 That said, I can see the perks if hardware limitations are more of thing

Wood and the RX7800xt Hellhound I own
Have the standard, but really would have liked Wood to come out as an add-on accessory instead of only as a set.

Yes! My thoughts exactly 🙌
Matt Lee and something wood. The duo that can't be separated. Also, as always, the build is dope! 🪵
It’s totally my vibe, don’t you know it 😄🪵 Hope you’re having an awesome week so far!

This episode has Mr Matt Lee talking! Nice😎👍

@@Mr_Matt_Lee yes! it's definitely refreshing and evolutionary moment for this channel. keep it up!

Super clean build as always.
Thanks my friend 👌🤎

beautiful build as always
Вы супер ребят и сборки у вас просто бомба спасибо вам 🤗
Happy Cyber Monday Matt. ☕️
Happy Cyber Monday to you too! ☕️ Hope your PC Gaming endevours have been wholesome ☕️
That coffee game is on point always ❤
Nice build combined with the music 🎶👍
In this era of RGB these Black-Builds are holding some top spot in the field of aesthetic.
I was debating with my custom o11 Mini (middle bar removed) and exact this case with glass side panel, I was forgot and choose to stick with my o11 but man.. I'm now thinking again to swap 😁
look at the cinematic snort pasta 👀 oboooyyy
Cinematic snort pasta 😅
That's clean

Dan a3 wood is just perfect. Makes me want to switch from ch160
Best and most satisfying pc build videos on YT😎🔥🔥
Good as always
Thank you 🤜🤛
The Aesthetic and the Nature vibe of this case is so clean.
Also.. where studio cat :3
Really digging this build. I need 10gbe for my NAS. really hoping manufacturers comes up to mATX mobos with 10gb so I can switch back to this.

A ‘sleeper’ build of sorts has been on my radar for quite a while now! 🤔

looks like a little brother of Fractal Design North
It genuinely does!
Thoughts, switch the orientation of the rear case fan and CPU fans to pull in from outside and not feed the GPU heat?
Love that coffee mug lol. Do you happen to have a link for it?
Надеюсь что скоро увидим хорошию сборку в корпусе Infinite
I hope you check Antec Constellation C8 CURVED Wood too.
I have had my eyes on that for a short while now. It’s certainly a bit different for the fish tank style to see wood on that panel
Fabulous build as ever. Would an sfx psu have any benefits in this case over an atx or not?
Matt Lee gave us wood
Well, when you put it like that… 🫣
opinion on using a 240mm aio at top? rest keep constant
That coffee machine is nice, Mr. Matt, nothing to do with the build, but what did you use to line the top of your worktable with? God bless you sir. ❤
Missing Noctua!
can it cool the i7 without overheating?
This build is insane, I loved it. I'm planing to buy this case but I have one big problem. Does de Arctic Liquid freezer 3 240mm fit in ?
That’s an interesting question. I’ll experiment next week and find out…
@ Wow, thank you. See you next week 🤝🏼
woodgrain cases are the best🪵🪵🪵🪵
I can’t get enough of them 😅🪵

What is the song name?
Your videos wants me to replace my H510flow into smaller factor case
🙌 smaller form cases do have their perks, but sometimes sacrifices have to be made depending on your own requirements. Glad you’re enjoying the content though 😄
Do you know if Lian Li would sell the wood panel by itself?
unlocked processor on b760 mobo ? why ?
Work with what you have and all… we didn’t have a Non K i7 in the studio, that’s not to say you cant use a 14700 for example 😊
I wish they make a shorter version for shorter video cards. The empty space is rather unsightly.

But no glass
*he can speak😮😅*

intel is complete shit, starting with the 13th generation
Nah, so much wasted space, might aswel be a full mid tower at this size
