I think a pass mark for this year is consistent top 4 and at least a Prelim appearance. I know it would hurt to ONLY make a prelim again, but if we can maintain a solid performance throughout the year and enter September strong, we'd be putting into practice what we've been working towards for the last few years. A Grand Final appearance or even the mythical seventeenth would show we were right about there already, we just needed to stick the landing.

I think that the talent is there to threaten for a premiership in 2025. From what I see, leadership depth and quality needs to take a step up in 2025 to take advantage of this rich talent pool. Quality leadership across each line, including the interchange bench as a bare minimum. Ultimately we want all players to show leadership on and off the ground. When it's your turn to lift or show something special you do it instinctively for the team. The players will know when it comes together naturally. Hopefully in 2025.
I'm with you, Petra. We have the troops. Leadership throughout the playing group and coaching group is imperative, as you point out. Giving ourselves the best possible chance means finishing top 4.

@TheLaughingMagpie I tend to agree. Although some time in the midfield for Jagga against certain opposition will be good for his development. I expect to see Jagga switching from the wing to half forward most of the time rather than in a defensive role

This year a top four finish is a non-negotiable, one of the best backs a two time Brownlow medalist in the centre and two of the best big forwardsndat's just the start, has to be top four.

That is the very minimum and the standard of our club that needs to be met!🤔 We need to maximise all our talent in their correct positions, and the coaches need to be a lot better, as we were out coached so many times in the last few seasons, which is not good enough.
