Sad news on the other vid. The channel allowed us to follow your journey and it felt like I actually knew you guys. You've created a successful channel and best of luck on your next chapter. There was a slight downer on your content over the last months but it must have been an effort to keep going. You continued to produce which must have been difficult. It is very sad but good luck!
Hey Georgia! Saw ur latest vid and hope you stay strong! You need not answer to us, especially on your personal life. Enjoy ur break back in UK and stay safe & healthy. Thanks for all the engaging content over the years!
Georgia, so thrilled that you've discovered the Gallop extension. We love our Botanic Gardens and it's latest addition, Atbara House. Really enjoy your videos and I've even showed some to my history classes in school. Watched your last video and wanted to say - hang in there through the ups and downs of life. Glad you could go home to England for a well deserved holiday too.
Thanks for sharing these beautiful places in Singapore! I brought my kids to the Gallop extension sometime back and they absolutely loved the playground though it was scorching when we were there. Such a beautiful place. Yes, I totally agree about exploring wherever you live. Even though Singapore is small, there are still so many places I have not been to. I went to lower peirce reservoir yesterday and I was blown away by the beauty and peace. The view is absolutely stunning. There is a lovely boardwalk, we saw many monkeys as well!
Wowww this vlog is really like none of your others! You seem so so happy! I also love the advertisement chatty bit in the middle and at the end where you talk about the product )whilst outdoors with the beautiful greenery). So cute! So full of positive, aesthetic & warmth! Love love love this one
Hi Georgia, am commenting from your latest vid on life updates. Thoughts go out to you. Thanks for opening up and being vulnerable with us. Wishing that life back home will be a good time with your family.
The Oval @ Seletar (within Seletar Aerospace Park) is a good place to visit for old colonial black-and-white bungalows. The area is known for its abundance of cafes and nature grounds such as Hampstead Wetlands Park and Rower's Bay Park. A number of cafes also offers good vantage point for watching planes take off from Seletar Airport.
The recent video was sad and I am posting here because I can't do it in the other video.. My heart goes out to you. Good luck on your next chapter in life. Have faith that you can grow from bad experiences and help you find happiness that is endearing and lasting. Remember to love yourself. All the best!
Sending positive vibes Georgia, do reach out to the community if you feel lonely during this difficult time. Will be amazing to go back home for a while, you will feel fabulous again before you know it. Take care!
Just seen ur latest video, hoping for the best to you and do stay strong! whatever decision u make for your next chapter, I am sure you will do well! Also, it's unfortunate that your PR is not successful in Singapore but do continue to however keep posting wherever u will be next! I will be supporting good content from you!
Singapore was once a British colony. There are still the remaining black and white colonial bungalows left...eg seletar, woodlands, thomson, woodleigh, nearby to one north.
Love the Gallup Extension. One of its museums explains that the landscape architects intentionally created the English countryside look, but using tropical plants. Genius!
You should also explore the northern part of Singapore which used to be the British Naval Base near Sembawang Park. Places like King's Avenue and the area opposite it just across the road like St John's Road, Canada Road has many beautiful Black & White colonial bungalows....
I’d love to check it there❣️The botanical garden was my favorite place in Singapore. And it’s so funny you’re using my favorite Biore stuff in Singapore. They weren’t available when I was living there😆 I Ilove the non sticky UV gel as well.
Gallop Extension is truly lovely. And Cempedak is pronounced “cherm-per-dak”. Has a strong smell but not like durians and is a yummy fruit if you can find it. It’s harder to find these days.
Sorry, Cempdak is not Jackfruit, the fruit looks similar, but Cenpedak is about half the size of Jackfruit or smaller, the flesh texture is closer to durian, with strong smell.
I lived in Singapore in the sixties, my friend and I would buy a bunch of bananas and go to the botanical gardens and feed the monkeys. I guess it isn't legal to do that anymore. Also, it seemed everytime I sat on the ground ants would bite me, learned quickly not to do that.
If u go to pasir ris swamp. There are also statues too not sure why they place those statues c0s in e day it's normal but come night it's all a different kind of story, maybe we go there together without video.
So lovely, haven't been to the Botanical gardens yet, defs keen! Are there areas can cycle around there or is it limited to walking? Looks perfect for a picnic too 😊
