Sir pls I have a question,I solved a question frm my school app. The question says,what volume of oxygen measured at stp would be liberated on electrolysis by 9650C of electricity?and I got 1.21 as my answer . But the app shows that the answer is 0.56 because oxygen is a diatomic element.Pls sir kindly help review on this
The answer to the Question is 0.56dm³ There is a Reaction to show that the value of q for oxygen is 4 oxygen (+) 4OH-(aq) - 4e- ==> 2H2O(l) + O2(g) From the Reaction above the Value for q for oxygen is 4 Though there are more Further explanations to this Though But this is Something you must take note of incase you are asked in your examination
