For the contact cement try to get the coating as thin as you possibly can. One it dried faster two the bond will be even stronger. On such a small scale I don’t think it’s as important as the pice is as said very small and you most likely won’t bump into lots of stuff with it. The doll turned out amazing btw!
Edit: before I forget you can also use water to help smooth out the foam clay even more. Just be careful to not use to much as it will get very sticky. Also at least on a bigger scale it works wonders to putt a little water on the foam first so the clay sticks better to the EVA foam.

@@fableagain I cosplay and I love making props and armor from PVA foam so I work with it quite often. I was very fortunate to have someone teach me so I will gladly continue sharing the knowledge. I also love how kind the doll community is. I was very anxious posting this comment because I was ready for people to throw some hate but everyone has just been nice. This is one of the communities I am most happy to be a part of:)

This was so cool. I love how this design was so different than what you normally do, yet you were still able to sprinkle it with your flavor so it still looks like a Moonlight Jewel doll. There were so many beautiful designs submitted, I don’t know how you settled on just the one. I hope you do this again at another milestone, 600k maybe.

Tipp fürs 3D drucken sodass die Figuren besser an der Platte halten: Einfach mit einem Küchentuch ein kleines bisschen Resin aufnehmen und in die Metallplatte einreiben! Dadurch haftet das gedruckte Resin besser an der Platte!🥰

I only recently discovered the figurine/doll art/customizing worlds. Once upon a time, many, many (so many) years ago, I painted the tiny D&D figurines made of pewter for my Dungeon Master and fellow campaigners. It makes me want to pick up where I left off! And the materials and mediums available!! 🤯 Oh, the visions swimming in my head. ❤️🔥🖌

It makes me so happy as a cosplayer to see you discovering EVA foam as a crafting method. I nightly recommend watching kamuicosplay and kinpatsucosplay to see the true power of EVA. I feel like it will definitely be helpful for you even on a small scale. :D
