Thanks for these tutorials, amazing voice and guitarplaying! I would also like to hear some original songs, maybe linked with tuts for us newbies 😃. Keep spreading the love!🎸
Hey thank you JW ! I really enjoy the loopy song tutorials. I also love migs drumming, he is an amazing drummer. I assume you’re recording your stomp audio into the Babyface and not usb ? Have a great evening b
Cool looking st this song I think I expression pedal midi map to the filters (LF ETC ) would be cool. So you don’t have to rush into playing the guitar
You made it look so easy. Awesome While using samples (drum loops) do you tune them to the key of the song ? What’s the best way ? Another question. May be a stupid one. When the drums are playing and you record the vocals the drums get recorded with them thru the mic. Is there another way to have just vocals ? Thanks for sharing your knowledge
@@musicallyunpluggedmanish9023 thanks mate! The drum samples don’t have any notes/harmony so no need to tune them as far as I see it. To avoid the microphone getting recorded when recording instruments or drums you set each channel to only record to a certain clip colour from the mixer window. That way the mic will only ever be recorded to the clips you want. Hope that helps :)
@@jwskuse oh ok. Got it for drums. I meant when you are dubbing vocals for harmony over the beat that playing in the background. How do you only record the harmony without what’s playing on other loops that are already recorded.
@@musicallyunpluggedmanish9023 on every channel you can choose what colour clips it will record too. So my vocals will not record to anything other than light blue and pink.
@@jwskuse that’s awesome. How about this. During a live performance When your drums are playing and can be heard through a PA or some sort of speaker. Now when you are recording your vocal the microphone will not only catch your vocals but also the drums or whatever other layers that are playing through the PA at that time. Won’t it record the drums and vocals both or is there another way ?
@@musicallyunpluggedmanish9023 you will always pick up some of the loop back into the mic when playing live, you just have to be careful with speaker placement or run in ear monitors. Also you can mute the mic with a button, so essentially turn it off if you are overdubbing and don’t need to sing at the same time. I’ve done a bunch of gigs like this with no major problems.
@@hamerpalhares I have not! Do you think it’s something people would want? I suppose there’s some interest here :), I’m new to UA-cam so just finding me feet
You so deserve a coffee 🎉 thank you for sharing ❤
Legend!
Thank you for all your videos, JW! Both helpful to me as a fairly newbie to Loopy Pro, and inspiring to me as a performer.
@@elkhornslough my pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Thanks, Tim!
So nice. I like your version of Wonderwall.
On the jokes side of things I'll say. If Hillsong were to sing Wonderwall.
Thanks 🙏

Love this stuff. Let me know if you fancy an Ableton collaboration. I do bleepy stuff.
Cheers mate! Always up for a Collab
Great. How do I get in touch?
Instagram would be good 👍
Wonderful wall. Have you considered a course on Loopy pro with songs like this and Come Together?
