I've had this mic for awhile, love how simple it is but at the same time I wish there was more options in the software for tweaking.

im contemplating getting one of these for my Bday. For now im just gonna use my pc's built in mic since its Decent to ok quality soi can get by for now. This vid sold me on the Snowball mic i based on what your said i definitely dont wanna deal with that nightmare headache so instead ima go with the snowball mic seems to be one of the most popular mics ever made.

Excellent review dude! Just picked one up for 43 bucks at Best Buy. I’m using it for this podcast I was just on. But now I’m thinking of using it for my UA-cam videos. The only thing is. I usually have to do a bunch of different takes. Then later I choose the best one. If I have my audio going to my computer, how do I sync up my audio or even find out what audio goes to what video and everything? It’s so easy right now just using the onboard microphone because it’s right there on the video file. Any advice on this?

I got one about 10 years ago and I sold it to a friend. Went with a cheap rig on Amazon and the thing really doesn't cut the sauce and ordered a new one. Main difference with the old one, the color (from white to black), the USB connector and the tripod, the old one looked like the same type of today's but was metal all around, heavy and expandable. Yes there are a multitude of better mics but none at this low price, ok again some at the same price but I really dig the look.

I'd suggest picking up a cheap 20 dollar desk mount from amazon if you plan to use the mic to talk to people. It keeps the mic out of the way and opens up your desk.
Just received a blue snowball as a gift. I sing on Smule and thought this microphone would be better than the microphone on my I-ad. I plugged it in to my USB port and the red light lit up but there was no sound. Do I need something else?

since Mojave security update the snowball ice isn't anymore (my cas and others) recognised.Asking for drivers they proudly retend (as it was before) it is plug and play.No customer support.Too bad.now its only a mini led night light

Yeah it really is, went to a friends house and he had his tripod broken and for a couple of days he had to make a make-shift stand and it really got in his way. So which one do you think? Arm or stand? Also there is a decent 4 inches between by keyboard and mouse but I do play with the mouse and keyboard right at the edge of my desk, so I’m not really sure.

My Blue Snowball Ice Mic stand (the stand it came with) the mic itself is extremely loose on it and whenever I pick it up, the mic just falls off the stand, any help?
