Personally, I prefer Scout to be a racer and I'm a huge Pyro fan. I say that because Scout loves to talk smack; he'd be perfect. But being as Sega couldn't get the official voices, I'm sure that'd cause a lot of whining from fanboys. SO in the end, I respect this decision by Sega.
They could, it's just that the voice actors found it hard to recreate the TF2 voices I heard. And considering that they recorded at SEGA where the voice directors were completely different, they sound like imitations. But at least they tried.
Just wanted to tell everyone you can get Sonic Hits Collection on PC Steam for forty bucks. That includes pretty much every single Sonic game on Steam, including this one. Buying them all separate would be around $120 so I think its a pretty kick ass deal.
Goddamn, seeing this, they need to finally make that rumoured Skies of Arcadia HD remake come to life. Skies of Arcadia was one of my all-time favorite games. If they were to remake it and release it on Wii U/SP4/XB1/PC I think everyone would be happy. Seriously, imagine a fully orchestrated re-arrangement of the classic songs from SoA, and having this remix blasting. Hell, they should put Sumo Digital in charge of this HD remake. It would be a sight to behold!
seeing the delphinus and the grand fortress and Clara's ship and the purple arcwhale ... i miss Skies of Arcadia. damn you sega for letting every series languish for years now.

In the PC version of the game there are three exclusive characters, Team Fortress 2, Football Manager and Total War Shogun.

according to OverTheGun's run through, it's the original voice actors...they're just rusty as all HELL at the time of recording for this game.
