Ok I just got my three panels and everything i need was just getting ready to start and in comes the hubby so much for that I had to do prep work for the big game tomorrow so I will start this tomorrow and finish on Monday I am so excited !

I made one with regular batting, because that’s what I had on hand... BUT I would highly recommend the fusible batting. I had trouble keeping the back from getting tucks, and had to rip out lines a few times because of this. Fusible batting is definitely the way to go!
I think this is very interesting. I always am happy to hear ideas for using the panels. I wish you would have shown a close look at what it looked like after you ran the cutter up, but still great video.

I love this but have a question. Is this thick enough to be actually used as a rug or is it more just for decorative use? I love the fabrics and that we have another technique to use our fabrics with!
That's a great question! We probably wouldn't put this in a high-traffic area, but it can certainly be used and stood on, and of course is always great as a decorative addition to your home. - Morgan

It's so much fun, you'll have a blast! The cutter is going to go through the first 2 panel layers. You'll keep the bottom panel in tact, which is why we have you leave it a little bit bigger than the others so you don't accidentally cut through it. It can be easy to miss, but at about 12:25 Jen mentions this. You'll leave the bottom-most panel larger than the others, and in tact, and you'll cut through the top 2 panels. Hope that clears things up for you! :) Let me know if you have other questions. - Morgan

In this instance, you'll cut through 2 layers. You'll leave the bottom-most panel in tact. You want to cut through multiple layers of panel so you have more of the fluffy chenille effect. Does that make sense? - Morgan

Do you iron the fusible fleece to the backing or do you iron it to the bottom panel? It didn't look like it was fused to anything in the video.

Did you cut thru the top 2 layers, or just the top layer? I don’t think this was addressed.
