you mentioned that you were expecting something new ! you thought there will be something new in bollywood, ranbir kapoor would be alter ego of arjun. you really call it something new ? there are tons of movies out there like these ! on the other side this movie was in actual something new or different in reality. this movie is a masterpiece but only those can understand it who have sense of real film making. it resembled to the hollywood A class movies . the film was extremely good & everyone did very fine acting unlike other bollywood overacted ones !

Thank you for your comment sir, i would still disagree with your opinion and so would the other 7000+ people who have rated this movie 3.3/10 on IMDB. I can imagine that the concept of the movie looked great on paper hence why this movie had such an amazing cast but it was not executed properly. I believe Bollywood has better movies than hollywood when it comes to certain genres - and the closest example that comes to my mind is Tamasha starring Ranbir and directed by Imtiaz Ali. But ROY is not it.

@@TheIshqTahir btw wht I understood is actually there were two stories going on. The story of Jacqueline with Arjun was real and the story of Jacqueline with Ranveer was the story written by Arjun (story of Roy and Tia) and was a part of his movie which he made after meeting Jacq inspired by whatever events were going on between them.Its really an amazing movie if you understand it. At starting I was also confused but slowly I understood it after the scene when Jacqueline received a letter named Tia
