- I am going to share my inventory tracker and log book for my diamond painting collection. I use a Webster's Pages Travelers Notebook and inserts to keep track in. I love being able to look back at my book to reference dp's I've completed and also all of the ones I have purchased. I hope this helps you with your tracking system. After watching this video I went to Ali express and added more diamond paintings to my ever growing wish list(I have a lot on there). I'm almost done with one and just got got another one today. Diamond painting has become my new craft addiction. I love it. I only allow myself to order one or 2 every other month or so. I wish I could order more, but i'm starting to want bigger canvases and they get pricey.
It's not so pricey if you buy 1 large ("80x80" or up) every two or three months, you save a little here and there for that next big piece. Or you can get multiple small ("15x15-30x30") which are just a few dollars a piece on Ali Express /Amazon. And before you know it you have a collection and hours upon hours of fun 🤣🤗😀
The only down side I've found in this scenario is that you'll always want MORE 😂😂😂😂
This is so satisfying! I’ve only done 1 but loved it. I’m a huge planner nerd and this is just the coolest clash of worlds.
Cool, it's fun when you discover something that combines some of your favorite things. I guess you can say I am a planner nerd too. At least I shop like I am. :-)

Thank yo o much for sharing how you inventory you work. I just started diamond painting. I finished one & I’m just about done with my second. I’m visually impaired so It takes me a bit longer to complete. I use special low vision glasses & a cctv. I wanted to do it so bad that I figured a way to just do it. Like you, I love it. That's a nice system for keeping track! I have colored the page that is #20 in your book, one of my coloring subscribers asked me if I could email the colored image to her and she turned it into a card for me and it said "color while you sheet mask" it was so cute and it made my day.

The one you're working on reminds me a little of Van Gogh's Starry Night and that's what I'm working on right now, in cross stitch.
I absolutely LOVE that you have Monster High in there! I think Ever After High could be nice too! ♡-♡.
I can't diamond paint, at least not while bedridden, and the princess of art/craft supplies. I simultaneously have as many art and craft materials as I do collections... I know, I know, preaching to the choir lol. But I am poor and live in a tiny appartment and the only vice I have, is collecting stuff I think I can use... so yeah, it's an issue of space. Also I just know, in my bed, my kitty would walk all over it, and get it furry, and I'd lose the pieces everywhere lol. So, I do cross stitch instead.
Anyway, I think that if I did diamond paint, I would have all of the Disney Princess ones (even more of the Sleeping Beauty ones because of my middle name being Briar Rose... and I'd probably look for her in that dress) Monster High, Ponies (I'd have more Chrysalis, Night Mare Moon, and Luna) and the Jasmine Becket Griffith ones or ones that look like they could be her works. However, ones I'd be looking for on top of all that are Rainbow Brite (!!!!!!) Which is my favourite franchise, and I'd try to find one with all of them together, Rainbow Brite, the sprites, Starlight, AND the colour kids... I think the pink one is part of the colour kids, if not, I want her in it too. On top of that, ones I'd want are anything with Camilla D'Errico paintings on them, and probably every Sailor Moon thing I can find. I'd also want one of Chat Noir from Miraculous: Lady Bug and Chat Noir.
If I think of more franchises I would want them in, I'll come leave another comment.
(So you know, I don't leave multiple comments to be annoying, I do it to help drive up comment numbers... but, you know, only if I have something else to say.
Hi Shannon! I love this system, I am a visual person too. The cute little prints make a adorable booklet to enjoy! Unfortunately I'm not to tech savvy. I'd love to learn how you make ( from getting the picture off page to small print.) these darling prints to have and always remember. So fun! Thank you!

I didn't know about this channel (I follow pstoyreviews), but I'm so glad I came across it. I love doing diamond dots and have been trying to figure out a simple way to organize them thank u so much for the book idea 😊
I like simple. I need simple. I did cringe when you said you throw away the extras just because i do other crafts (read: i am a hoarder) but truthfully i dont see them getting used except as back ups. Btw i looove the rose on your firat page im ordering it when i finish the giant one im working on. Its in my amazon cart already.
The butterfly on that page I have in the other 3 colors they made it in.
I also use the picture from either the box or the paper that comes in most of them. Its a cheaper option to do this system with.
That stained glass belle...omygosh love it. Need it. I have a dress that is the wi dow and i wore it when i saw my husband in 29 palms. He proposed in her castle in disney

I wanna start diamond paintings I think I wanna do a unicorn. For my daughter and toothless dragon for my boys. Harry potter for my husband and mother in law. And a super hero one for my father in law. And a native American one for my mom. And 2 native American ones for my front room. Above my TV. Man I know that sounds like alot but I been crocheting. And I figured I take a break from that and do something different. U paintings are inspiring me and plus it looks fun to do with some headphones on and go with the painting. Can't wait to see more down. I'm new to this channel but I do watch ur toy channel to with my kids.

Those would be awesome in hospital rooms.
I brought my Crosstitch with me while in the hospital, and not only was it GREAT there, I got a lot done, and everyone and their brother stopped to see what I was doing, and then complimented me on my work lol. It made my stay a bit easier, although watchin my favourite UA-camrs, and talking to them and fans about what was going on at the time, was even better. Combined, my stay was pretty good, considering.
Edit: OH you mean the finished pieces, up on the wall, don't you...

You gave some good ideas on keeping track of all my diamond paintings I have ordered, I also have completed the Disney Princess you showed of all the princess I dont know what size you ordered, but I wish I had ordered a bigger size

I am working on #6 the disney castle but it is a oil painting not diamond painting I am almost done it is beautiful so far ❤

I spotted a duplicate!! 103 and 182 are the same lisa Frank peices. You said you didnt like duplicates but it looks like this one squeezed it's way in!!

BTW, the image search on Ali Express works like a charm if you see a diamond painting in Shannon’s journal that you want to buy for yourself.

Do you get all your DP from the same shop? Are they mostly all the same size?
Most of the ones you have I also either have or they are in my cart.. I get antsy with choosing a size..
I really want to start diamond painting but I'm really hesitant about it. I just worry about the creators of the diamond paintings stealing other people's art. I know many of them do not have the artist's permission to turn them into a diamond painting and make money off them. I know this is especially a problem on sites like Wish and stores in other countries. Do you know of any good sites to purchase some that doesn't take art from other people or credits the artist in some way?

All you need is to buy one, everything you need to complete it comes in the package.
I know the stitch stain glass is full because I am currently working on it

im diamond painter to i only knew you from the toy videos did not you love to diamond and same as me love Jasmin becket i only make big ones 75 x 50 im working on its a scenery hot today my first Jasmin becket it 40 x 50 dont have so much 3 big completed and on in stash i cant afford to get a whole lot
