It still baffles me that literally every single person in a family of 6 can be so amazingly loving and fantastic. Love is a very, very high frequency, and your boat is filled and surrounded with it. And thankfully this energy is going through the screen and into the life of everyone that is watching your videos. You guys are such an inspiration of joy and positive thinking and being. Until next time, the biggest hug from me and everybody else who loves you! 🩷🤗🩵
Absolutely LOVING these videos, you are a huge inspiration! 🙏 The heartfelt goodbye from the marina staff makes me want to visit Fiji even more - such lovely people. We have a cheap"twin tub for camping" washing machine: 230 Volt, 300 w, runs easily off our inverter / solar, you can just fit a double sheet in both the washing and spin sides. It does take up valuable space, but it's a Godsend for us with just one daughter, never mind an action-loving family of six. A decent washing machine must be an essential item for you guys. You are making such a positive difference in the world with these videos, thank you! ✝️=♥️ God bless & fair winds, Chris (plus Rossella & Emma) 🙂
We expected that Candy machine to last 1 year a best. Not a bad run ~5 years. I'm so glad we didn't tackle the shower glass removal, considered it but didn't want to preclude the use of the shower in the future. Way better access now without that panel. Cheers from California!
Hi there, I’ve just gone back to watch your video #1, now watching #2 , what a treat, what a team even back when the kids were five years younger ( remarkable). Archie washing the dishes with his feet in the sink, 😅 all the groceries being done and packed away, those groceries today in Aussie would now cost you three times the price, are you sure you want to come back? Oh just watching Pippa post surf board accident 😢 isn’t she a brave little one, you have so much good content as I’ve also watched your Usa, Canada Travels. Sail safe, happy you have a washing machine, makes a lot sense for a busy crew, especially mumma bear!
Another crackin' Video showing how much you all love one another and work so hard and so well together! Archie, congratulations again young man! That's awesome the way the locals greet the cruisers when they arrive and how the say Bon Voyage! Great teamwork getting the washing machine replaced!
This episode really made me smile. 😊 Another all hands on deck boat project getting the new washing machine installed. The best part was everyone gathered around to watch the first wash. Who knew watching a washing machine could be so entertaining and exciting! 😂 Love your videos. I look forward to each Sunday spending some time with your lovely family! ❤🙏
Congrats to Ocean Man Extraordinaire Archie - Well deserved young fella! & YES!! why would you not live with a washing machine. Awesome ep - keep up the great work. Looking foeard to more of your adventures 😊
I had your old style washer in an apartment in Prague a couple of summers ago, there was a problem of bacterial stink with that unit that went away as soon as they removed it. Hooray for your new one!
You guys on cats can get far better speeds with a fair wind. I think we once reached 20kt on our old monohull, but we risked planing if we tried for more. Each of our long voyages were men/man and boys only (I had only one daughter who hated sailing, and I have 17 grandsons and no granddaughters!). So laundry was minimal! After a month at sea, some of my mixed ethnicity white/first nations grandsons are darker than my mixed white/Luhya ones! As my late wife used to say of our house, "Why buy a dishwasher, when I married an imported one?" 😂
What's luxury? its the same question as what's rich? A matter of how you interpret the situation. You live aboard and we are doing that as well. After years of using the marina and some laundry shop facilities wherever we went, we finally found a machine that fittes in a cabinet. No a washing machine is not a luxury if it fits. Ours is really small and we use it every now and then in remote locations. Also used it in Singapore as washing and pressing just one shirt was 25 usd...With children its a must have. Next station /// the dishwasher.... My Option: luxury and no need, but then it saves can 70% in water usage....
Your sheet is wrong. the starboard side of a boat refers to the right-hand side when facing the bow (front) of the vessel - in contrast, the port side is the left-hand side when facing the bow. The way i remember it is alphabetical order. P comes before S. And we read left to right.

What you see in the videos is how they all act in real life, we had the honor to meet in Rebal Malaysia. ❤️

Well done Archie on your award.
I really like that Tedd is able to make light work with the washer. I'm sure it makes your parents proud.
Happy Birthday to the Captain. 🎂🥳🎉👏👍I very much appreciate and admire the caring each of you have for your Family! 💗😇🤗🙏🏻
What a sweet send off they gave you. Truly beautiful people❤
Amazing family! Amazing adventures to remember for a lifetime!
One of the best designs I’ve ever seen for a boat was where they had the washer on the main deck level and they used standard size machines.

I too have 4 children and I can't imagine having to take all that laundry out also I saw another boat family bought a 2 in 1 which saves room

Isn't great when the kids get big enough to start doing some of the heavy lifting!
Was the salt water pump for the generator exhaust (safety concern), the generator itself would not overheat?

Yes but 'starboard tack' refers to the wind coming from starboard.
