Paul McCartney-Don't Get Around Much Anymore 1987 Hi-Fi

- Paul McCartney Rockin Out in 1987, This version was recorded in true Hi-Fi, not common at the time in the UK. It sounds better than any version I have seen/heard on You Tube. Enjoy. Paul did 3 songs on The Last Resort, and jammed "Spin It On" at the end...
Great like almost everything Paul did in his hey day. Turning into gold everything he touched. A genius and workaholic. A very funny guy too.
Not everything he touched "turned into gold". A lot of his '80's albums, with the exception of Tug Of War, were a mixed bag at best and crap at worst. Pipes Of Peace was a particularly bad album.
@@BlueEyes-gp8lg I don't agree.
Sung by the Ink Spots as well in the forties. Paul McCartney made a great modern version of it! Thanks!
Thanks Paul, this is joyful!
This song sung by Paul always lift my spirit. Thanks a lot!!!
Esos dos acordes -que no están en la versión original-, es lo que le da la chispa al tema. No me canso de escucharla. Bravo Mcca.
This was my favorite song on the Choba B CCCP. Great music.
Along with Summertime mine too.
Great version of a great song.....
Top shelf. Total class.
First class!
McCartney sings Ellington!
Magnífica versión del clásico de Duke Ellington.
This is just class 🤣
Wow! Cool version. Never heard this before. Awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Wad done by the ink spots remember my mum singing this and I'm like mum how do u know this she was in her 70s then bless her
This is just such a good version, absolutely love it 😊
Paul is just the GOAT.
Brilliant.
he’s divine
Such a brilliant interpretation!
This brings The Duke right up to the present time. Feels both modern and timeless at the same time. Just like Dr John's version btw.
great version
This is WAY cool! Thanks for posting.
Super cool
That looks like Elvis Costello's "Attractions" as his backing band.
They are
Every bit as good as the Bobby Rydell version.
🎸👏👍✊
🤩
lo amo, amé la versión, amé que la hayan subido ¡gracias, gracias, gracias!
!
That's Elvis Costello and the Attractions backing Paul!!
mongo2360 it’s Steve Nieve and Pete Thomas of the Attractions, but the other two are different people - Kevin Armstrong and
Steve Lawrence, according to a forum post I found. The one guy sure does have an Elvis Costello look going, but it’s not him.
This guy is God. Who is the fella with the Stratocaster? And the name of the drummer?
Ahem.
Kevin armstrong on guitar great guitarist
Pete Thomas on drums. He and the keyboard player (Steve Nieve) come from Elvis Costello´s band(s).
Who’s playing with him in the band?
The Attractions, Elvis Costello's band
Again Joe Pass versione
I think this is the very first time that Paul played electric guitar in public after the debut of the Beatles.
Am I right?
No.
No he’s play electric guitar many times on stage.
@@dachille1
Could you tell me when and where?
You might be right, in The Beatles live performances Paul always played bass, and in Wings Paul always played bass, piano or acoustic guitar live as far as I know, although he might have played electric guitar during the 1979 tour.
Edit: yeah I checked and Paul plays Electric guitar on the live performance of Hot As Sun

THANK YOU!!
Yes, he did play EG in 1979 live, I had forgot.
Anyway, so glad a man who played marvelous lead guitar in Taxman, Good Morning, Good Morning and so on, showed off his skills LIVE!!
Is that Jools on keys?
Steve Naive of the Attractions. Pete Thomas, also of the Attractions, on drums.
Who’s Jools?
Nieve, actually.

As much as I enjoy Paul, Mose Allison did a much better, smoother version more in line with the sadness of the words. Paul always leans to the "jolly".
GOD HELP US.
Shouldn't be allowed . DISGUSTING,
Lewis Sanders ?????????
Yeah I don’t get your comment Lewis.
I have this theory that the first person to comment on a video is usually a twat. Just wanted you to know.
