I'm so excited to share this beautiful music of Shira Kammen. ''Downstream'' from 'Music of Waters'...
Soundtrack of Braid :) ...
(This cover is shorter than the original.. We cut some repeats.)
Me and Wolfgang tried to share the spirit of it with you. I must say that i'm feeling so lucky to work with him, so lucky that he answered me as ''yes'' when i ask him to play this song together.
And we hope you enjoy from this work, like we do while playing it :). There is also one more special thank to a talented, lovely painter ''Milenka Delic'', i'm thankful to her for letting us using her awesome artwork.

Braid oyununun müziklerinden :) ...
(Bu çalışma esas müziğinden daha kısa hazırlanmıştır.. Bazı tekrarları keserek parçayı kısalttık.)
Ben ve Wolfgang, bu parçanın ruhunu sizlerle paylaşmaya çalıştık. Söylemeliyim ki Wolfgang gibi iyi bir müzisyenle çalışmak bir şanstı. İyi ki ''Bu parçayı birlikte sesledirmek ister misin?'' diye sorduğumda bana ''Evet'' yanıtını verdi.
Umarım bu çalışmayı dinlemekten keyif alırsınız, bizim de seslendirirken keyif aldığımız gibi :). Burada kendisine teşekkür etmek istediğim bir diğer sanatçi ise, ressam ''Milenka Delic''. İkinci kısımda kullandığım o güzel resmini bizimle paylaştığı için çok memnunum.

This song seems so deeply ingrained in the violinist, I would believe she wrote this... I actually had to hold back a few tears
She didn't. She's actually only miming it in the video. You can tell by the first note where she starts a nanosecond too late in the video compared to the sound.
Cormac Ó Braonáin It's just because I made the sound and video record at seperate times like all famous singers and musicians do for their videos always. What you hear is what I've played. You can see the difference so easy if you compare this work with the original and the other covers. This sound is belong to me. And also I for sure played one more time with ''love'' while recording the video. Love is not changing in any different plays.

Recordings are done In soundproof areas, in order to fully capture the sound; not a living room. This is a music video, she played the song then recorded herself performing it. This has been a cherished song of mine ever since I heard it. I always listen to it when I wan to calm down and not worry or go for a drive in the fall. This is an absolutely beautiful cover! You did it beyond justice. :)
this is so good, they're both so skilled, there isn't a single note that is even slightly out of place, and the violinist when she does that thing where she plays 2 notes simultaneously, at 2:00 that looks pretty difficult to do and she pulls it off so flawlessly god damn.
It is 2 sounds that have been recorded separately. It is possible to sound several sounds together on the violin (like at 3:40), but not that far apart from one another.
Still beautiful though !!!!
