I would just like to say how much I love your videos. A voice that speaks clear English, no gimics, no stupid catch phrases or ridiculous outfits, no mad dancing, no loud music and no swearing. Long may you continue to entertain us and just love Tasci.
Hi Alex, once again you have captured the essence of detecting, never knowing what lies beneath, lead more than likely!!😂 You had a great location and the sun, so a piece of gold would have been nice. Maybe tomorrow. All the best and keep digging.
Thank you again Alexander for the time and effort you clearly put into producing these videos. Stunning scenery, beautiful weather, topped off by the fact you ensure there are no annoying adverts 😁👍. 6pm now, off outside to fire the bbq up and pull the cork. Isn't life just perfect at times 👍
A nice change seeing you on a green backdrop and what an amazing filed right next to the coast. The power of the sea always amazes me. I mainly detect pasture up in the rolling hills , a lot of character to them but tiring all the same. Any silver on a days digging is great , and I do love sheep , they do a good job of keeping that grass nice and trim. Great vid as always . Really respect your editing .
Thanks Liam, yes its quite a special spot... and that pasture is a bit different for me... harder work definitely! Hope all well and thanks for the editing comment - really nice to know some people notice!!! Ta
Ha! Thanks John... his herding skills do NOT need developing any further I have seen him in action and thats why i can no longer have him near them!! Hope all well!
What a fabulous location with stunning scenery. The little rosette item looks like it could be a medieval horse harness mount. Well found 👍 Thank you once again for sharing another entertaining short film. Please keep them coming!
Thanks NP C - im glad you think its a harness mount too - felt like it and has come out really nice cleaned... thanks for the kind comments! Hope all well!
Hi Alexander, what a cracking video, and such a wonderful setting, I love the way that you show the beaches, the bone shaped object looked like it belonged to a dog collar, decorated dog collars have been around for hundreds of years, could have belonged to some pampered pooch from Tudor times lol, thanks for the video Alex, and I hope Tasci got his walk along the beach, atb Terry.
The West country is beautiful , and the sea a beautiful blue, A lovely video Alexander with so much to look at ,interesting finds and beautiful landscapes ,Thank you .blessings xxxShaz
Thanks Shaz much appreciated - it really is the most spectacular view i didn't want to concentrate on it too much as I was unsure of revealing the location too obviously - lovely weather down here too! Hope all well X
@@HolzHammerSagas You lucky thing Alexander, we have had beautiful sunshine ,but that sea looks gorgeous, I know it's not there , but reminds me of Golden Cap ,Charmouth a favourite seaside of Terry and myself..Blessings to you and Tasci xxxShaz 😊⛱🍦🌞⛵⚓
Wow what a beautiful place to detect! Weather looked perfect too! Perhaps the lead you spoke of is from military practice. The beaches here from the Mid to South east Atlantic coast have shrapnel and lead fragments from exploded ordnance from Navy training exercises.Missed seeing Tasci today, give him a scratch behind the ear from his American fan.lol Good luck and happy hunting! ~Paul
What a beautiful location. I did a couple of trips to the beach between Southwold and Cove Hithe in Suffolk where in principle nice things should drop out of the cliffs as they erode but the amount of ordnance and bits of molten aluminium is overwhemling. I did see a bloke pull a lovely mammoth tooth out of the cliff face though. Good luck next time - I always look forward to your videos!
A delightful video indeed. Beautiful scenery such a pleasure on the eye. I like how you honestly showed you 'giving up ' on the deep iffy target. We've all been there. Realy enjoy your efforts mate ! 👍🍻
Thanks Happy, your comments are much appreciated - i have come to the conclusion for these videos you really need to have something nice to show from the digs and something nice to see helps... i think you can use even more scenery if you find even more nice things... we'll see! Hope all well
@@HolzHammerSagas I think its realy nice to include scenery as it 'sets the scene' for the day so to speak. I also think , featuring the odd 'failure ' ( too deep/not sure , good signal but rubbish ) put the human touch there. A vid with good find after good find , hole to hole would be boring . You also have a co- star 😊. His personality realy comes over . You have winner -winner recipe mate 👍😊🍻
beautiful place. Nice see sea and land together like that. we get alot world war stuff on our beaches too. we have forts that run the whole way along eastbourne. but I like finding war stuff and it still all history. great video well enjoyed 🙂👍
Thanks very much - yes, war stuff is very interesting... there is an awful lot here... there was also a feeling that if Germany were to invade, these west facing Devon beaches may have been likely landing sites. Hope all well!
Hi mate , some interesting finds there my friend i like the bone shaped belt mount quite unusual , and a beautiful location as well a pleasure to be out there , and you are right about pinpointer's why do people use them as digging tools ? beats me >😁 , anyway nice video mate ATB Rob .
Richard hemery would would be able to help with pottery find looks like you had the perfect day for it thank you for sharing and just love the west country still so much history still to be found . best regards S
I know I’m trying...! I won’t put another one out before it gets more exciting... I thought the scenery probably merited the last one... it’s also that time of the year when my good fields are out of play... Hope all well
Good evening Alexander just wondering where your location is as i think its Studland . I was born in Poole but have lived for the past 25years in Midlands and you may remember I’m an auctioneer so we are both in the antiques world but die hard detectorists!
Hi Mark. it was actually North Devon; I could have given a more detailed view but not sure I wanted too many people to guess! Hope all well - please keep me in mind if any good taxidermy goes through your rooms! Hope all well
@@HolzHammerSagas Thank you Alexander ahh North Devon still beautiful coast line, no we must keep all our locations secret. Just back this evening having found a lovely head stud brooch. Ive just bought a two headed chick to go with my stuffed duck bill Platypus which I found 30 years ago in Cornwall. Will give you nod next time!
