2:42 Pressing control does not make you "jump higher", it makes your hitbox smaller because it's acts as if you lifted your feet up mid-air, that's how it is in some games and I am pretty certain it's the same for valorant!

I am speaking of crouching in general, and ctrl is the default keybind in many games including valorant @@sakotaX2

@@selfdeprecative I have my crouch binded to F so I was a bit confused about that part if its the sneak or run button.
Have it to F as leftover when I was a kid when my hands are still small and pressing ctrl while moving with wasd just makes my pinky finger hurt
I had no idea about the crouching thing, and I always thought that the reason all the neon one tricks I watched were able to make those jumps without losing momentum was just difference in skill.
So everytime he scrolls down to jump he uses CTRL simultaneously? Thats it?
I taught myself how to bhop on neon, and one big tip I will say, is that it is easiest to learn doge strafing when you see that the last guy alive has an op or maybe another sniper. The hardest weapons to hit you with obviously, so you will improve at spotting enemies mid bhop and slide shooting them at less risk of dying

There are some more things about ctrl. It seems that jumping of ropes while crouching gives you more momentum. I've noticed it by myself and my friend (who hasn't been told about it) said same thing.
And i have my own shit tech which i like to call C-strafe. That's all about doing circle (lurch strafes if you are from apex, the tech is "wasd" or "wdsa" and no mouse moving). I like using them in awkward scenarios like getting swinged by enemy after an op shot. That's may be used after slide strafes (getting momentum of slide with a/d keys and mouse)
i find it hard to press ctrl with my pinky should I switch it with shift?? also I don't play ctrl on toggle should I toggle it?

the split box a slide can also be done forwards and if you time it right you can be up in the air when the buy phase drops and can get more momentum than a double slide
i've found it use ful for when flanking you can hop over trips

Bro i dont know how to thank u i was a hardstuck silver 2 who kept de ranking to bronze and i complained about my teammates but i tried neon once and gave up and i was a guy that kept playing all the agents i wouldnt focus on one at the end i got tired of my teammates so i just started to play sova but then i wanted to be flashy thought of yoru but you you my friend insipred my neon present day i am g3 i went to gold in 3 days of neon and g2 and reached g3 in 2 days now i drop 28-30 almost every game neon movement works so well in low elo because ppl rlly dont have good aim and they black out so i am aiming for diammond next month or so

Im new to Val and Ive been digging Neon (I come from OW). How do you go about keeping your momentum when bhopping around? Im pressing A/D into turns, however sometimes my momentum stops and I cant figure out whats causing it. I also lose momentum when strafe bhopping. Cant figure out if its a key timing issue or if theres something Im not doing. Would love some feedback/help

Hey tenet I have trouble jumping from a smaller box into a bigger box like getting onto a heaven on ascent or on icebox the a from where the barrier drops on defence any tips for me to overcome this would be so helpful thank u for another amazing video!!!
Try to jump on the very edge of the box. The later you jump the more distance you will get. Also practicing your strafes will help you hit box vaults.

What’s a good use for neon ult. Aside from saves I never find myself using the ult since I have a gun. I’m not sure when I should use it and what a good situation is
It's good to take space fast since you get the extra slide. So just finding a good timing when you need to go fast/get a quick entry.
