Sunnyside swapmeet in Fresno had these in cassettes. I used my Sunday allowances of 5 dollars to purchase some of them. Awesome mixes. To this day they still kick. Long live the 80's generation. And it's mix masters too. Just listen and move your body. I bet you are. 😆
I was 14 in 1984 an used buy these mixes at circle records in phx...Friday nights at riverside ballroom was teen night...how many out there remember clearing the dance floors when you faced off with an other crew???
I remember going to the record store looking for a Prince song they didn't have, but they had this. Before I never heard of this and boy I was happy with my purchase back in the early 80's. This is a CLASSIC! if all the NY mixers are still around and you read his thank you .
@@Devastator210SA do you remember Wax master torey Wknc magic 88?? Buying and paying cash for old Rap cassette tapes and old homemade mixtapes inbox me or holler back.
I know lol these was those underground mixes that you would here only 1 time ever in the 80s but i was lucky at age 10 in 1985 too know and hang around older teens who use to breakdance in the back of our house in the alley they had the big boom boxes and this was the type of music that was playing lol
I bought all the ScratchMasters and my fave was 5 fingers of death I think it was done by Dr. Dre back in the day before the Wrecking Cru. Big Ups to Leopold's Records in Berkeley CA. who carried underground records.
It took me along time finding these mixes I heard some of these mixes on am radio it was called kukq I think 1060am radio its been along time but thanks to UA-cam tats we're I found all these mixes
I was a dj from 84-97 and these records were hit or miss... i bought them at $3.97 each in NY and sometimes would be bummed that the mixes were great or totally sucked..
