@@djmarkymarks.f.4153 Cameron Paul is my all time favorite dj. He definitely was the best in those days. But most of his mixes on vinyl were issued on his record label called “Mixx-it Records”. Before that he made mixes for the Hot Tracks label. I don’t think this is his mix though. Could be one of Dr. Dre’s old mixes.
@@djmarkymarks.f.4153 I believe the Z Rock Scratchmasters mixes that were on vinyl were by Dr Dre and Dj Yella. But I agree, Cameron Paul was the greatest of the quick mix medleys.
@@djmarkymarks.f.4153 Oh man that is awesome. The City Nights mixes on KMEL was my first introduction to Cameron Paul. Early in 1988. I was barely 11 years old staying up late Saturday nights trying to rig my stereo antenna listening to his mixes. Heard his Powermix ‘87 and was hooked ever since. That is awesome that you were able to dj at City Nights as well. I never made it there. Did you ever meet Cameron Paul?
@@djmarkymarks.f.4153 I can’t agree with you more when you mentioned the sirens, horns and saying your own name every 3 minutes. I can’t stand that nowadays. Cameron Paul was definitely a true inspiration for Djs and music lovers in general. So many memories listening to his mixes
This brings back memories back in the day . From DJ Ken G Motion one love peace.
Been looking for old club mixing music like this for awhile
