To me peter sagan will always be a legend. Never seen someone being targeted as much as him by his adversaries on 1-day classic races. There was a time where sagan would literally decide who was going to win a race because every rival was teaming up against him. Everyones else goal was to eliminate sagan, this shows how great he is!

The only men in the history of road cycling to win 3 world championships in a row, there is nothing that i could add to this, documentary is great and the music too, well done.
Can you imagine being the Britain and Belgian directors, distancing all your rivals except for each other, including the reigning champ, and then seeing him bridge that gap.
Bridging that gap in Qatar illustrates just how powerFULL Sagan is. The effort must have been exhausting. Then he had to recover and maintain at the same time. Then he capped it off by victory. UNbelievable.
@@bellavia5 i tried bridging a 500m gap with 30kph speed in a dry weather. I noped out midway because the effort was twice as much during a hot humid day. Peter Sagan is really a beast. My all time favorite for sure
@@naimas8120 Sure thing. The heat and the humidity knocks the stuffing right out of you. Like everything else -some people are designed to adapt to various climates and conditions better than other's. I can't breathe ( not literally ) in hot humid weather and would never attempt to race in it. I'm looking forward to see how Sagan does this year.

Incredible quality! This is the first time I saw the three consecutive wins in one video and what struck me was how all the big names (Kristof, Cav, Boonen etc.) shook hands with the winner immediately after crossing the line. I love this kind of respect.

I have never managed to see the dropped video from Bergen and not even realize how much work Peter Sagan did there. Incredible job by Peter, and a perfect explanation in the video.
@@danh9225 This not true, he didn't elbow him, even UCI said after a thorough video investigation that he didn't touch him, he was trying to balance himself on bike and by that time Cavendish was already falling. You have to watch it in slow motion not top speed. Tons of cyclists apologized to Peter after their harsh words once they saw the full footage. So no, he didn't elbow Cavendish. "The crash was an unfortunate and unintentional race incident and that the UCI Commissaires made their decision based on their best judgment in the circumstances” UCI press release They passed judgement without seeing the video evidence and UCI later changed the rules because of this incident. Now the judgement can be passed only after seeing the video evidence.
@@danh9225 I think you need your eyes checked then. UCI cleared Sagan, other cyclists apologized for falsely accusing Sagan of foul play yet you see what you want to see.
@@danh9225 Did I say he is my hero? You are the one not seeing what's on camera, watch some frame by frame vids where it's clear his elbow goes up after Cav is already falling. Demare changed his line, Cav went over manhole cover which caused disbalance, he was leaning towards Sagan's shoulder and hit him which thus ment Sagan lost his balance and had to put out his elbow and knee...at the time he did that Cav was already falling down. It's all on camera in slow motion and with time frames but nah you don't believe in proof.
@@danh9225 WTH man? Cavendish ran over something and that is what made him fall. Sagan's elbow hit nothing else than air. I agree with Phobos, your eyes needs to be checked or is it just because u hate him because of what he achieved? Its even more clear than day.

I was watching Japanese anime "yowamushi pedal" and got curious and searched UA-cam for best cycling moments. And here i am in awe of peter sagan. Wow just wow
One of the most impressive rides I ever saw Sagan do was in the Tirreno-Adriatico a couple years back, in an uphill section where it looked like a preview for the GC riders of the tour, he refused to be dropped. Instead he destroyed a bunch of lightweight powerhouses who should have been able to drop him like a bad habit.
Peto is a living legend of sport especially for cycling for me and I thing for the World, I'm proud of him as a Slovak and he is from our Slovak Republic, thank you and thank you all fans who support him !!! ;)

great video, Peter is the reason I started to watch cycling . He is such a fantastic rider and he achieved most of his victories withou a lead out train or alone without any team mates surrounding him. what a Legend
I just got into cycling sports recently and spent a lot of time watching videos. The Doha split is constantly mentioned but I never understood why it's so significant in cycling history because no one bothered to properly explain it to novices like me. You just did the best explanation and I understood instantly. Am now in awe of it all.
Great video! It was such an exciting week in Richmond. I enjoy reliving it! I can almost see myself at 3:13. I have some good photos of the camera bike. 😄. Sagan was so far ahead we didn’t know where he was! He is THE MAN!

To win the world 🌎 Championship in 2015, 16, 17 has got to be the greatest performance ever‼️‼️This was simply an AMAZING film 🎥 to watch. I usually watch Lantern rouge but the analysis always flies way above my head, this explained all the drama of cycling so much better and clearer! Amazing video!
Great work, narrating and material. I did miss one thing and that was the fact that he won in Richmond because of his decent down from 23rd street. Boasson Hagen and Van Avermaet were 50 meters behind him at the top but after 5 corners they were looking at 300 meters instead and started giving up. He turned into 'Il Falco' like he did on stage 16 of that years Tour de France on the decent down to Gap from Col de Mans He won that title by being the smartest, strongest and best rider in the world that day.
