No Miss USA at an event on America soil...what gives?!? New favorites, Peru and Puerto Rico. Peru looks very fresh faced and natural and Puerto Rico gives off that old Hollywood glamour.
@@DaniWalker as the old saying goes...Leyla gotta go! Wonder how bad it will get before people's brain cells start firing and realize what a debacle Miss USA has become. I REALLY hate saying this...but the organization was so much better under the orange man.
It's the same reason why Anne and Paul Rocha put Laylah Rose as director of Miss USA, to destroy Miss USA org. Why would they invite Miss USA that they're obviously bringing down ? Laylah Rose purposefully barred Noelia Voigt from having events + gigs that they lost sponsors.
venezuela really stood out! she is stunning! such a strong group of latinas this year. dani, now that we’re entering the miss universe season (yayyy), I want to take the opportunity to talk about our candidate, Miss Brazil. she is the first representative to receive unanimous support from fans since julia gama in 2020. she speaks english, italian and french fluently. she is also the first mother to become miss brazil. can’t wait to hear your thoughts about our representative. sending love from brazil! 🫶
I agree. Venezuela stole the show. What a stunner! And she's actually very personable and has amazing speaking skills. She's definitely gunning for the crown. Others I liked at the Smile Train event were Puerto Rico, Denmark, Honduras, Colombia, Peru, Iceland. Israel's ability to speak Spanish is definitely a plus. She could surprise in Mx!
I went to one of the events held in a Nicaraguan themed restaurant and the two that really stood out that day were Puerto Rico and Serbia. PR is gorgeous and has great communication skills. Serbia insisted in answering everything in Spanish and explained that she learned the language watching Mexican and Venezuelan soap operas as a child. She was charming, well spoken and extremely charismatic, plus is super tall. Both of these ladies connected with everyone. Canada has something really nice going on as well and, beauty alone, Denmark eats.
@@jacob-ni6jr Um why are you lying? Why don't watch the previous video how Laylah Rose + Miss USA is being sued by RBE production company. There you'll see how Dani's compassionate about Alma's situation
I agree with you in regards of Honduras, a very pleasant surprise this year, a unique look that stands out. Hope the MU organization gives her a chance this year and allows Honduras to make it to the top 30, and why not?, even higher!
Women of all ages, mothers, married women, and trans women are stunning and breathtakingly beautiful. But I wish Miss Universe would go back to the traditional format. We already have awesome pageant systems for every group that I mentioned. Inclusivity is wonderful, but at what cost? If anything, all of the changes haven't made the pageants any more popular with regards to ratings and I would argue that these "gimmicks" and "changes" have alienated many pageant fans and created even less interest with the general public. Too much political correctness in modern pageantry these days. And I won't even discuss Miss USA and the current mess that has become. Miss Universe contestants in Miami where Miss USA is headquartered, and no Miss USA at these events? Just a hot mess.....
I'm so glad you highlighted Honduras; I really thought she had something special when I first saw her win on social media, and I love when countries with a lighter sash weight get their time to shine. And I mean, Venezuela is just insane. She is taking no prisoners and it's just something else to watch hard work, opportunity, and timing come together like this. Thanks for the recap, Dani!

Hi Dani. I so agree with you miss Honduras and miss Venezuela. Both women so captivating. And both mothers. So very interesting. I was also very excited to see our miss universe Canada there too. I’m curious if you have looked at all her credentials. She is well known in Canada. This is a first to have a miss Canada that most Canadians know who she is both from her work and her achievements and her constant efforts to make First Nations peoples lives better. And she is bringing pageantry back into focus for all of Canada. She also is married and in 2015 won the Mrs. Universe pageant while representing Canada. And now here she is finally reaching her dream to compete in the miss universe pageant. She is also the first Canadian First Nations woman to win both the Mrs. Universe Canada title. (2015) And now the first Canadian First Nations woman to win miss Universe Canada (2024). So much more I could tell you about her. This is the most excited I have been in over 40 years to watch her compete because she has brought so much widespread excitement for Canada. And as well she is from my part of the country. I hope she has the most fabulous time at miss universe. And I will be forever grateful to her for making pageantry alive again in Canada. I hope you enjoyed my message. And I hope you are well. Cheers Raylene from Canada.

Juliana Barrientos, miss Bolivia is the total package. She's a woman in science, a polyglot, and a talented pianist. Moreover, she's a human rights activist, taking part in saving refugees, making the crossing from Ukraine to Bolivia. 🇧🇴
Those pre pageant events are fire. I only wish there where more events like that and more representation from other countries that don't have the backing and sash factor like the Latinas.

Not to get off topic, but has anyone else noticed that Alma hasn’t worn the Miss USA crown in any of the most recent pics on Instagram? I wonder if it broke? The sash has been the only thing making it into the pics but barely.
I'm not sure, but the only one who read the memo about the children's gala activity was Puerto Rico and she did it with glamour and elegance. The others were beautiful but dressed in evening gowns for the preliminary.
If Miss USA does not place this year only one person is to blame - Layla Rose. Why was Miss USA not at a function held in the USA and in the city she is supposed to be living in? Alma deserves so much better than what is happening. Shame on you Layla Rose, shame on you. Denmark is beautiful.
I can't take my eyes off Miss Universe Somalia Khadija Omar. Her beauty is just ethereal. And I love that she's unapologetically representing her culture and her faith with her fashionable headgear! If you listen to her talk on social media, you know she would be a threat in interview rounds as well. I think this year - it's time for Africa.
Seriously.. some of the contestants were dressed up as if they were going to a cabaret! Puerto Rico's dress is stunning and fit for a gala, she and her team definitely understood the task. Canada was borderline offensive, who advised her to wear that thing!?!?
Did I miss Mexico in this video? PR’s gown was very pretty, would have preferred white or baby pink background. Good job to all the ladies and thank you sponsors. 👑

They open up licensing for more countries, then they approve various directors for the job. I feel this is why we've seen production and contestants experiences suffer. They can make a quick buck by offering licenses to more countries, but if they don't properly vet the license holders, they can damage the brand. We loved it. It was the historically longest runway, 75 ft. This is the length of the Victoria Secret runway. We were sooo excited about it. We were literally just talking about it this week in our group chat.
