TickTocking Review: Patek Philippe 3939 Minute Repeater Tourbillon

Gorgeous watch and the best sound I have heard from this type. As to the size, well I collect mainly vintage and find two things when it comes to size. Firstly it’s the dial to bezel ratio. If the watch, as in this instance has little or no bezel and a light coloured dial then it makes the watch feel bigger on the wrist. The most important though is lug to lug end length. If it’s longer as in this case it fills the wrist more.
I actually find it’s that measurement, not the width, thank makes a watch feel smaller or larger on the wrist in case sizes up to 40mm.
Enamel for me is one of the best dial finishes. There is something about it that gives so much depth and life to the dial. I have a Wyler RailRoad Approved watch with one and its one of my favourite watches! Wonderful review Steve, your knocking them out of the ball park!

Steve, watching this one was such a pleasure! For a while now I have been wondering if there is a watch that is 33-34mm, enamel dial, time only with unparalleled movement finishing. A Kari can be commissioned down to a 36mm (37?). Does anything else come to mind?
