The reason why it was a major explosion was probably because of tensions, it looks to be extremely loose on one side (or probably all sides! D:)
Looking at the Loose 5x5 is so mesmerizing

i got one but one of the sides turns with pressure but all of the other sides are ok

Try using 2-look OLL and PLL, and learn intuitive F2L

When you saw your cube is too loose, never put to much speed or never turn it.
Screw it tighter then you can do something with it.

you should have tensioned it before you turned it.. it obviously was going to pop, it was super loose. you could have avoided that dude 😂

Chris Hew I'd go for the KungFu CangFeng! It's a really cheap budget cube but it is super reliable and will last you a really long time!

haribo41296 I don't recommend the kungfu cangfeng. I have it and it catches like crazy and one piece broke so I had to get a replacement. Also, the center caps pop like crazy.

My z-cubes are very good quality and I haven't had a single problem with pops. you were being rough.
the pop was because it was way to loose and he saw that before he started messing with it. hell the screw looked like it as ready to fall out.
I have 4x4 z cube. I regret buying this shit the center piece broke NICE
