A phenomenal performance by India. One of the best displays of resilience I have seen by an Indian team. Like most, I was resigned when Rahane got out, and then again later when Pujara got bowled, but that was some seriously high class batting by Pujara, Pant, Vihari, and Ashwin. Pant is a mercurial guy. He will make us cheer for him and then curse him for getting out the way he did. But that was a fantastic innings. Gave India a sniff. If he had stuck around for another hour, or if Jadeja had not been injured, India would have been in with a real chance. Pujara's critics should just shut up now. He is an invaluable commodity. His part in saving this test match is not to be forgotten. He played over 200 balls himself and wore down the Aussies. Terrific. It took a real peach from Hazelwood to get him. Vihari showed the meaning of resilience. Playing on one leg, he just was solid apart from the one chance. Really saved his career. Hope his contribution isn't forgotten. Ashwin really reminded us again that he can bat. Terrific fighting spirit. Played Lyon without trouble and took the hits from fast bowlers bravely. Outstanding work. Now, as for the Gabba, I really hope Bumrah and Ashwin are all right. Without them, India's bowling will be in deep trouble. Provided they are fit, it will be the same four as this test match. I suppose any two of Aggarwal, Shaw, and Saha will play. Probably Aggarwal and Saha, especially if Pant is not completely ok to keep. But I would understand playing Shaw over Saha too if Pant can keep. Gabba will be tough, without doubt. But they have done their job for the third test.
@@soorajs1087 Well, I don't see them going with 4 pacers even if they play 5 bowlers. Given Gabba's reputation, I think they will want to make sure their batting is strong. I mean, as well as India did in the 2nd innings, they also only made 244 in the first innings with a really flat pitch. 4 bowlers may be enough on a helpful pitch.
@@soorajs1087 Well, it obviously depends on the injury situation. But my point is that I feel they would maybe go for a Kuldeep over a Thakur. If Bumrah is fit and Ashwin is fit, then I think they should go with 4 bowlers at the Gabba. If one or both of them are not completely fit, then they can play the extra bowler.
Ashwin should have just replied Paine : Meet u after ur board meeting with ACB after this draw and give proper explanation for drops of 3 dolly catches😂😂😂😂😂
There is a video showing Steve Smith erasing the "batting guard" at the crease during Indias innings during the drinks break. Can you talk about this please!
Credit where the credit is due. Coming back from the debacle of 36/9 to winning the next and drawing the following game is a great feat and deserve all the applause. Thoroughly enjoyed these game of cricket as a Pakistani fan. Final test will be quite exciting after how the series has unfolded.
You are absolutely correct,it was a great escape for Australia.331 was not par score.Had India batted this way in the first innings,it could have been curtains for Australia. There were three runouts in the first innings, making it very easy for the Australian bowlers.
What a Courageous, Character shown by the Indian batsman!!!!!..... Honestly the pitch not behaved like a 5th day pitch..... Test is historical... Waiting for the decider in the Gabba....
At one stage it reminded of the movie Lion King where Simba (played by Ashwin) was surrounded by a pack of hyenas for the kill. But Simba bravely fought through. Great stuff Ashwin!
Splendid performance by Ashwin and Vihari by the way they fight it out with bruises but still went on . A fiery knock by Pant and pujara's rock solid contribution in both the innings. (Paine tried his best to distract Ashwin but in vain really liked the way ashwin replied to him)
It's so fitting that the Indian batting showed such grit, character and patience against such a brilliant bowling attack on rahul dravid's birthday ❤️❤️🙂🙂.
Harsha is the quintessential cricket tragic. His comments are those of all test cricket fanatics who appreciate the greatest team sport there is. Chess on grass. Steve Smith being awarded man off the match is completely obliterated by the steely resolve and sheer courage of the Indian team up against a powerful bowling opposition. I'm an Ozzie but this match reminded me of the great West Indies teams of the '60s. The dogged fight of the Indian team, minus their famous captain and wounded through much of the batting order, is a feat I will long remember and wherever I can in future, I will attend any Indian v Aust. Fixture. Congratulations go to the entire Indian team. One of the great matches of all time.
Can't take any credit from rahane as a captain in this match also. With these kind of conditions keep players to perform at their best through out the match is not an easy job. Bowling changes and field placing also perfect, not allowed ausis to take the game completely away in worst situation also. This is the real character of a leader. Salute to rahane also who lead the 50% side to perform like that.
I watched late night .. into Monday morning . Felt very emotional . Need to admit felt very emotional . Cried ! Felt better than winning WC . I am serious . I just stood up and saluted both Ashwin and Vihari and team !
It's true that Rishab pant needs to improve But the x factor he is bringing to his team is invaluable 1)consistently scoring 25+ scores which involves 50+ partnership with others He has done thrice this series 2)left right combination to make sure that bowlers keep changing thier lengths The only things he needs to improve his Converting starts to 50+ runs Wickt keeping skills Team managemt has to invest in him and properly guide him He is just 23 years old and it's too harsh to get trolled whenever he drops catches Just compare his stats with other keepers performance
Played with injuries still didn't give up Simple words never mess with Indians 🇮🇳 You may underestimate our skills But never underestimate our willpower or try to corner us We Indians know how to respond well and bounce back hard 🇮🇳 Proud to be Indian 🇮🇳 Jai Hind Jai Bharat

A day for literature today at 01:12 and who could be the best poet other than Harsha Bhogle...Harshaa you beauty the way u dictate the situation and results aah it's treat for our ears...live long legend.. "Voice of cricket" for a reason
Just wanted to highlight few things which I made note of on Harsha's commentary in recent times. Before that, I just want to say that I take a lot of pride as an Indian and as an ardent cricket fan whenever he is referred to as Voice of Cricket. Although, I would love to see him be more honest and brutal instead of being politically correct just as his Aussie counterparts are in this series, afterall he is an Indian representative too. To highlight what I am saying, I will share few moments in Sydney test. When Ashwin and Vihari were exchanging rib guards while facing Aussie seamers, McGrath so sternly highlighted in the extra innings that India was wasting a lot of time when Vihari and Ashwin were batting at the centre, which was arguably true(although one can debate since Ashwin and Vihari were physicaly struggling). Now we see moments where Siraj and Bumrah are racially abused by spectators, Ashwin sledged(although Aussies are known for that) and clearly I mean clearly we see Steve Smith scuffing Rishabh Pant's guard marks on purpose, Harsha maintains a politically correct approach rather than highlightingthe real issue and confronting McGrath. In the end everyone would love to see cricket played in right spirits, but at the same time every fan of each country would want their representative to take a stern stand for their country whenever need be, which surely Harsha doesnot do too often.
Pant is unbelievably talented, seen him in 2017/17 IPL. Batting for worst team of the competition DD, but he comes every time and plays like a champion! What an attitude, courage and confidence! Simply wow!
@TheKiiran22 fair point mate but Gabba offers good pace and bounce Saini is more taller than both shardul or Natrajan and secondly he has more pace than both and we must not forget it was his debut test match we must not be so harsh to him he deserves atleast one more chance

The draw was gutsy and kudos to the team for fighting through the pain but India now need to win 4 out of the last 5(1 at Brisbane and 4 against England at home) tests to qualify for the WTC final.
Who says that? Even if Brisbane is lost and England series is won 4-0, India will qualify. Still some cricket to be played. Also depends on performance of Australia and New Zealand in their respective next series.
After every setback this Indian team is just getting better and better and better... short of words to explain this miracle India has done today.. u got no shami, kohli, ishant, bhuvi, umesh,kl rahul, and in between match ur two key Batsman gets injured terribly one with hamstring and the other with his dislocated thumb. u r 3 down for 100 and have to bat more than 100 overs to save the test and left with only 3 specialist Batsman..Oh man I still can't believe how the hell India pulled this off. @@kas2k4 Its not self proclaimed. Just two tests ago, they bowled India out for 36. So lets respect what India have achieved today without putting down the Australian bowling, which is still high quality.

@Srikanth Sv yeah take your point but we lost from winning positions in both south Africa and England our bowling to English tail was just pathetic it cost us the series and our batting except kohli was bad, we always make debutants career sam Curran , Kyle Jamieson, green to an extent 😂 and just didn't chase even 190 and 200 in England and south Africa so we have played great but won very little except in Australia but now we are fighting and trying to win expect the 36 which was freakish and the dropped catches we have been fantastic in this series, fingers crossed we create history and fight through injuries and adversities and win the series I'm Brisbane 🤞🇮🇳
@Srikanth Sv Man I'm proud today cricket is back in India especially test cricket and people are talking about the test matches so much
A phenomenal performance by India.
See shardul getting a game? He can bat a bit right? I don't think India should go in with 4 bowlers.
@@nikunjdixit1175 but 4 bowlers with an inexperienced Siraj and Saini and an injury scare to Bumrah?
@@soorajs1087 Well, it obviously depends on the injury situation. But my point is that I feel they would maybe go for a Kuldeep over a Thakur. If Bumrah is fit and Ashwin is fit, then I think they should go with 4 bowlers at the Gabba. If one or both of them are not completely fit, then they can play the extra bowler.
Natarajan may be given chance over Siraj/Saini. Mayank replaces injured Vihari and Saha replaces injured Jadeja.
Tribute to "The wall " On his birthday:
Pant, pujara, vihari, aswin.
Her 😂😂😂😂
Her?!! r u serious🤔
RIP English 😂
Rip inglis 😂
Her ??? I'm an english and you disrespected our mother tongue how dare
Ashwin should have just replied Paine : Meet u after ur board meeting with ACB after this draw and give proper explanation for drops of 3 dolly catches😂😂😂😂😂
😂
Adams wanted to end the chat at 20.00..but harsha was just so excited to discuss more..haha..legend!
There is a video showing Steve Smith erasing the "batting guard" at the crease during Indias innings during the drinks break. Can you talk about this please!
He did on extra innings actually. Harsha reckons nothing malicious.
I have also watched that footage. Such a shame. A cheater always be a cheater
Cheaters always depend on cheating more than his performance

Credit where the credit is due. Coming back from the debacle of 36/9 to winning the next and drawing the following game is a great feat and deserve all the applause. Thoroughly enjoyed these game of cricket as a Pakistani fan.
Final test will be quite exciting after how the series has unfolded.
Had rishabh pant not spoiled bowlers length it would have been difficult for India to draw this test
Look at Harsha's smile when he learns about Puckovski injury.
@TheKiiran22 he's not 100%. But Australia are in desperate situation, that's why he played
He smiled because he realised that India has a selection issue on the bowling end and Australia on the batting.
It should be Great Escape for Australia. Had Indian players were not injured we would have won this match. Proud of our players. Jai Hind
I am from the Caribbean and watch that whole last day that was a great test ,imagine if vihari could of run Indian would of win easily
I think its aus escaped a great lose
Panth batting one more session and with jadeja
Would have chased this sure
Great escape aus
You are absolutely correct,it was a great escape for Australia.331 was not par score.Had India batted this way in the first innings,it could have been curtains for Australia. There were three runouts in the first innings, making it very easy for the Australian bowlers.
What a Courageous, Character shown by the Indian batsman!!!!!.....
Honestly the pitch not behaved like a 5th day pitch.....
Test is historical...
Waiting for the decider in the Gabba....
Was waiting for this! Can listen to Harsha talk about cricket whole day!
Always , pleased to hear Harsha Bhogle🙏
At one stage it reminded of the movie Lion King where Simba (played by Ashwin) was surrounded by a pack of hyenas for the kill. But Simba bravely fought through. Great stuff Ashwin!
Splendid performance by Ashwin and Vihari by the way they fight it out with bruises but still went on . A fiery knock by Pant and pujara's rock solid contribution in both the innings. (Paine tried his best to distract Ashwin but in vain really liked the way ashwin replied to him)
It's so fitting that the Indian batting showed such grit, character and patience against such a brilliant bowling attack on rahul dravid's birthday ❤️❤️🙂🙂.
today indian team followed their captain's words of wisdom : "shaam tak khelenge to inki gand phat jaegi."
Virat keep taking my name all the time on the ground, if u know u know
Harsha is the quintessential cricket tragic.
What a way to bring up 2021. One of the best test match. Best 4th innings fight back, resistance , Sledging and more...
As u grow old, u start to love test cricket and today was the example of it
I watched late night .. into Monday morning . Felt very emotional . Need to admit felt very emotional . Cried ! Felt better than winning WC . I am serious . I just stood up and saluted both Ashwin and Vihari and team !
I just want to keep hearing both these on and on - Adam Collins and Harsha Bhogle.
Adam is such a nice host; anchors the discussion so well.
It's true that Rishab pant needs to improve But the x factor he is bringing to his team is invaluable
1)consistently scoring 25+ scores which involves 50+ partnership with others
He has done thrice this series
2)left right combination to make sure that bowlers keep changing thier lengths
The only things he needs to improve his
Converting starts to 50+ runs
Wickt keeping skills
Team managemt has to invest in him and properly guide him
He is just 23 years old and it's too harsh to get trolled whenever he drops catches
Just compare his stats with other keepers performance
Yup
But He needs to improve his wk skills and keep patience don't throw wicket
Love listing to both of you every time.... Can not express how great the feel is
The reason I like these two so much are because they give a neutral perspective.
Jaddu and Ashwin both have the potential to become all time great all rounder in league of Kapil, Imran, Botham, Hadley
This is morel victory for india , many thanks to coaching staff, this is Ravi Shastri experience &brellence of pant .
Played with injuries still didn't give up
Simple words never mess with Indians 🇮🇳
You may underestimate our skills
But never underestimate our willpower or try to corner us
We Indians know how to respond well and bounce back hard 🇮🇳
Proud to be Indian 🇮🇳
Jai Hind Jai Bharat
I want to know Dravid's review of this match. Perfect birthday gift for the Wall. Superb comeback by India. Brought back memories of Adelaide 2014 where India lost the match by 42 runs. They fought so well today. Proud of the team.
It is such a pure bliss like a cold pleasant breeze early morning to be felt...Hearing Mr. HARSHA BHOGLE talk... "Voice Of Cricket" for a reason😌😌😌
You guys are a blessing to the Test Cricket game. Thanks🧡
are not just players playing a match it was a battlefield and soldiers are fighting for the country. Hatsoff to all the players Jai hind 🇮🇳
I am not sure if anyone else noticed it Paine-Ashwin banter wasn't just two sentence long.Paine said none of your teammates like you (he said something similar to Kohli in2018).I wonder if he is following his English ancestors mantra-Divide and rule😀
Brave gutsy played by india well done . Pants counter attack was great to watch and all played their part .
Witness of A good calm leader can bring so much confidence to the team..... Hatsoff to Ajinkya Rahane.....
A historic match, didn't sleep the previous night it was worth it
An absolute master stroke from Rahane by sending pant ahead of Vihari... The grit of Pujara, storm of pant, grindness of Vihari and stubbornness of Ashwin all together saved us the game for India...This is India's one of the most memorable matches.. Hatsoff team India
Today, our players have fought in the match as our soldier do in the war...... proud of all the players.
The conversation between the two is so insightful ❤
Damn, what a match it is. The excitement was nothing less than a blockbuster movie. A complete roller coaster mass masala entertainment 😜It looks like as if someone is orchestrating the scenes and events layer by layer to give a proper fitting end to this test match and to keep hoping for more interesting test matches in near future. Taking all those misfortunes, twists and turns, I would say our Indain test cricket at its finest.
So proud to be an Indian team supporter... 👏👏👏
Thanks Harsha for the dad advice...my son Zlatan is a year old n already a cricket fan...
Cricbuzz, please never stop these 2 covering test cricket with cricz=buzz chatter!
This draw is right up there with the wins at the Eden Gardens in 2001 and Adelaide 2003

Observation is pretty true ....dont like his diplomacy much
Our Indian team ready to play even after so many injuries hats off to our team great effort to save the match and series really proud of our team.
Its a delight to hear Harsha!!!
It’s most memorable test which ends in draw. Well played Pant, Pujara. Finally saved by Ashwin and Vihari👍💪
CONGRAJULATIONS. Keep it up Indian cricket team.
Love the passion in which Harsha has captured the moods and sentiments of the game
Nothing taking away from team India's heroics in the test
but Harsha is blessing to Cricbuzz...
Pant is unbelievably talented, seen him in 2017/17 IPL. Batting for worst team of the competition DD, but he comes every time and plays like a champion! What an attitude, courage and confidence! Simply wow!

Pujara
Rahane
Mayank
Pant

@TheKiiran22 fair point mate but Gabba offers good pace and bounce Saini is more taller than both shardul or Natrajan and secondly he has more pace than both and we must not forget it was his debut test match we must not be so harsh to him he deserves atleast one more chance
@TheKiiran22 after 1968 indian openers have had 50plus opening partnership outside Asia in both innings we just can't change opening order mate😂
I can listen to harsha bhogle all day.
Tremendous Grit and Determination shown by Vihari and Ashwin to save the test match and also saving their teammate Jadeja to play with a fractured thumb.Teamwork at its best🔥❤️
Absolutely worth to watch the Match👍It was absolutely a treat for a real Cricket fan like me who loved to watch the 'Test Match' in the era of T20 and one day Match.
Thank you Team India for absolutely positive game. Looking forward fourth 'TEST' 😊Indeed
One things for sure,Adam Collins just "CANNOT WAIT"!!!!
What a test cricket at its highest level . Good fight .
The draw was gutsy and kudos to the team for fighting through the pain but India now need to win 4 out of the last 5(1 at Brisbane and 4 against England at home) tests to qualify for the WTC final.
If we draw rest two, we only gotta win 3. BTW winning against England is easy as we are facing them in home conditions.
@@_psychopath_5623 4 -0 for ind
@@manasmishra928 yup. And if aus lose 3-0 against south Africa, they will go out. Lol
Who says that? Even if Brisbane is lost and England series is won 4-0, India will qualify. Still some cricket to be played. Also depends on performance of Australia and New Zealand in their respective next series.
@@xyzw1234 new Zealand won't play any more tests series. Its only Australia who gonna play against south africa
Adam just wanted to finish this chatter.. Harsha had so much to say about aus team selection.. also any comments on what Smith was doing 🤔
Hatss off to Pujara, pant, Vihari and Aswhin.!!
Just Lovely to see the exuberance Test Cricket brings with it
Young and experienced partnerships
Rohit- Gill
Pujara-pant
Ash-vihari
Well said
Hanuma Vihari literally played the innings of his life. This is much more than even a century or double century
Amazing Test Cricket! Love the street fight spirit.
What a beautiful game.
Congratulations India
One of the Best test matches, one the Best Efforts
What a resilience
I get up early in the morning to check the scores about this IND/AUS Series. I never used to watch 5 days matches but now it's so interesting and I hope India wins this series and retain the SG/AB Cup. This series has created interest about 5 days Matches around the world and everyone is waiting for the results. Whatever is the result India has been the best and they have revived the 5 Days Cricket Match format with a fighting comeback and even when there are so many top players being injured. Good luck India and you will make us proud by winning this series as it will be like world Cup win and Indians and other countries will celebrate this win.
♥️♥️❤️♥️♥️All those who are watching this video I pray , That their parents will live a longer life with good health 😊👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Probably India playing their weakest possible team and the best bowling attack in the world couldn't win it
Self proclaimed 'best bowling attack'. India with Bumrah, Shami, Ishant, Ashwin and Jadeja have the real best bowling attack in the world. They've taken more wickets as a bowling group in the last 3 years than any other opposition bowlers in the world
@@kas2k4 Its not self proclaimed. Just two tests ago, they bowled India out for 36. So lets respect what India have achieved today without putting down the Australian bowling, which is still high quality.
Yes definetly not self.proclaimed..
If you would've watched the match , you would see why they are the best bowling attack in the world.
The bowlers were relentless. Respect to rohit and shubhman , they played really well and have really good starts.
If they would've converted into big scores then the story could have been different
It can't be called the best if you can't take more than 3 wickets in a day.
