I feel like an actual hoarder right now. Seriously, I'm stirring in front of a tray that has ten palettes, a blush, and a little Sephora 500 point perk. Not to even mention my high end lip product drawer, drugstore lip product drawer, set of five acrylic drawers (filled with lip products), a 24 lipstick organizer (full), a cup full of Too Faced lip products, 22 sitting on shelves, and twelve Colourpop Lippie Stix in a different set of drawers. And I just ordered more.

I have no blushes, no bronzers, no highlighters, no primers, no eyeshadows, no lip liners, no contouring shades, no eyebrow products, no false lashes etc.. Am I too basic in make up?
This was such a great video. This is what my makeup collection should be. Love how practical you are about what can actually get used up. I've been going through and decluttering my makeup as well and this inspiring. Already halved my lipsticks.

I do the same! I love buying and trying makeup. But you're bound to find things that just don't work, or to find things you love so much more than current things. So theres always stuff to pass on to people who will love it more.

i decluttered today too! i just finished and it feels so good. i love how you actually use or get ride of your products because so many youtubers have soooo much stuff and i think it promotes this idea that you need more and more stuff and people waste their money

hey ashley i need to buy a new blush but i have no idea what type of colour i should buy... how do you choose which colours to use, like if it's more peachy toned or more pink? it depends on the makeup you are wearing or your skin tone?

it mostly depends on what you like and you can absolutely wear whatever colors you want! but I remember hearing that shades that are opposite your undertones will pop better. So if you have warm undertones (yellow or green) then you could pick a blush that's more cool toned (like purples and bright pinks) and if you have cool undertones (pink or blueish) go for a warm toned blush (peach, bronze, etc.). you can check your undertones easily by looking at the vains in your wrist. if they appear green, you have a warm undertone and if they appear blue, you have a cool undertone! if you can't tell, you have a neutral undertone and in that case, cool and warm toned blushes will look good on you. hope this helped!

I've always leaned toward more pink, nude, and pinky berry blushes. I have a cool undertone so I dislike peach or orange shades on myself.
If you're unsure of what you personally like, the Too Faced blush palette at Ulta, which I believe is still available, would be a good option because it has 6 different shades and you could definitely play around with them individually or mixing them together. And Ulta has double/triple points right now so that's a bonus.
