  • Cutting overhead branches and small limbs can be a hassle with manual saw. Using a chainsaw can be dangerous and using electric pole saw limiting. This Toro pole saw tries to eliminate all the disadvantages. We unbox, assemble and trim a few trees to see what we like and don't care for.

    I just got this pole chain saw, ordered it new and they sent a used one and I believe it is damaged. There is only three plugs on unit and the middle one is bent and can’t plug the battery in. It won’t connect. Don’t know if it can be fixed and how much it will cost to fix it. Is three prongs normal?

      I would send it back, you paid for new and not damaged.

    I just bought some Toro landscaping tools such as this Pole Saw. Thanks for this informational video. It was very thorough. I like that you showed examples of troubleshooting, including the fail safe alarm when the chain is too tight, as well multiple examples of the tool in operation.

      Do the batteries come with somewhat of a charge straight out of the box?

    • @cfldriven
      @cfldriven  3 роки тому

      @@conservativegamer9047 They do, but it always recommended to fully charge before using.

      Thank you for the feedback. While this tool doesn't get used every week, it nice that it instantly runs when I need it.

    Should you charge the battery after every use or when you use it up ?

    • @cfldriven
      @cfldriven  11 днів тому

      Since it only gets used once or twice a year I recharge if it show a lower level. What you want to avoid is having the battery drain down to zero during storage.

      The good news is the saw is generally 8 ft away from you, the bad news is any chainsaw will rip through skin and bone, therefore there is no excuse for not having an electric brake on it. I have a plug in Oregon chainsaw that instantly stops upon releasing the trigger, this is definitely a shortcoming of the Toro.
