Bette Midler shook my hand...that was pretty unreal! There is no mistaking this is Midler's show, she sings, she dances, her comedy, she wows! Accompanied by a superb cast, amazing colorful set and costume designs, a fast paced direction, this show keeps you dazzled from start to finish. It has a whopping 10 Tony Nominations. Good luck!

gavin flossing at 1:10 is so cute omg
i agree
That entrance was so extra, I love her. What a star
I feel like when you're Bette you've earned the right to be extra.
The term extra is so extra.
Saw the show 6/24/17. Walked into box office and got a single seat in the third row. Two and a half hours of sheer magic. Saw Bette and David at their best. Superb cast. Seeing Bette (and David)....In Dolly....on Pride Weekend...it doesn't get any better than that!!!!!
We saw it the 23rd! Pure magic :)
When she came out for the curtain call at the performance I went to, the screams almost deafened me. No matter; this is simply a tremendous evening in the theatre, and God knows I've had many of them over the decades.
I'm crying and I wasn't even there, lol. What a STAR.
This is the greatest illegal recording of a Broadway curtain call that I've ever seen!!
OMG! She's so nice! A huge Hollywood star shaking hands with her audience.
She did that, too, with fans waiting after the show by the stage door. They had a huge barricade around her car, but she went around and quickly shook hands with as many as she could (including me!). She wouldn't sign anything..saying to someone, "oh, honey, if I did that I couldn't get to all these people!".
Gloves is a smart move! :)
Bette Midler isn't a big Hollywood star. lol She's a famous singer who's right at home on the Broadway stage. Do you have any stars in your homeland of China?
Bette in fact starred in several movies as well, including The Rose, Ruthless People, Beaches and The First Wives Club which was a huge hit.
She's been nominated for Best Actress twice...
Ugh when she just belts out “wow wow wow fellas” 😍
Ahhhhh yes love her so much ❤️
Her smile & presence just radiate to the statasphere!
I break out in an ear-to-ear smile soooo big, with tears of joy in my eyes, every time I see this video. I’ll be seeing Bette in mid-August the week before the show closes. SO EXCITED!!!!
She deserves it. She's the Queen of Broadway.
Tonight she won a Tony ~ she is the Divine Miss M! ~ Congrats to our national hero, Bette Midler! ~ Love, Cheers, DAVEDJ
Her speech is gonna win an Emmy. lol.
OMGAWD ~ didn't she kill it on the Tonys ~ only time I recall anyone telling the orchestra to shut it!! Cheers, DAVEDJ
Just posted it! "Shut that crap!" ROFLMAO
Yes, she is a kind person. Brilliantly kind and talented. Very smart person. GREAT SHOW!!
Ty for posting :)
So blessed to have seen this. It was everything I hoped for an more.
Bette Midler was the star surrounded by other great talented stars.
This is just beyond words.
Thank you so much for sharing.
Huge Bette fan and seeing this so close is amazing
I saw the play in NYC in June and I must say that I felt extremely emotional because Hello Dolly was the second album I have ever bought when I was a kid. The play was just exceptional with Bette and everybody else. I recommend strongly if you are in NYC but book in advance !!!
This was one of the best things ever. Thank you!
One of the best entertainment experiences of my life. Incredible evening. OK, Scott Rudin, get busy and make the movie with Bette.
I would love to see a film remake with Bette too. Either Rob Marshall or Greta Gerwig has to direct it
Love it! Thank you for sharing!
I took my 9-year-old daughter to see this for her birthday. Bette Midler was my mother's favorite performer (and, sadly, never got to see her live) and I used to sing the title song to my daughter when she was little. It was a very special day and a very special show.
Ron Motta How touching indeed. How did you two enjoy the show?
why do curtain calls make me emotional
Because the show is over!!
You are SO LUCKY! I wondered if I'd see your version! Thanks for this superb view of The Divine Miss M!
maureen burke glad Yu enjoy it.
maureen burke :-):-)Φ:-)Φ
She looks like she's having a ball. Obviously she's working hard, but she looks radiant.
She looked AMAZING!
I would pay to see this! 🎉🎉🎉
What I wouldn't give to see this show. I was fortunate enough to see the Divine Miss M in the early 70s. I was 12 or 13. Barry Manilow was her pianist, Katy Sagal was one of the Harlettes. Her jokes were raunchy, her stage presence was fierce, and she was instantly and forever my favorite performer ever. I can't imagine a better role for her onstage... this thrills me!
Best broad ever!
I saw this last year with my daughter and sister before the show We saw it the night Ms Midler had a coughing fit at the beginning of "When the Parade passes by" Gavin Creel danced out a throat lozenge and a cup of water to her she was able to begin the song again and got the first of her 3 standing ovations!
Jan Massey What a trooper
Wow, wow, wow Buddy! Thanks for posting this. I wish I could get back east to see the show. Maybe she'll tour and bring the show to L.A. I've been a life long fan going back to the early '70s and have never missed anything she's done.
EagleRockers I highly doubt she will be touring. Donny Murphy is co headlining the show as Dolly to ease Bette's schedule. You should try to catch her in Broadway before it's too late. There are seats available in the fall. Be sure to check her vacation schedule.
Buddy T: Funny, last time I saw Bette on Broadway was in 1975, "Clams On The Half Shell." I may be able to see "Dolly" in September, if I can find decent seats. Thanks again for the video!
EagleRockers Betty Buckley is headlining the tour
She is just so amazing...incredibly talented and a beautiful person, inside and out!! I can't wait to see this show! :-)
Bette is a amazing wonderful gifted funny lady and I love her and her acting singing and shes a great humanb being !
I love everything about Hello, Dolly!
I love Hello Dolly too. It was the palette cleanser I needed after seeing Dear Evan Hansen
QUE ORGULHO 💜
Fantastic!
I came here for Justin Bowen😂great guy!!💙💕
Georgette and Slim sharing the stage together must have been a complete thrill for the people of NYC. Disney joke intended folks
Omy god your right
@@themasksamonji8606 I just love this show
Brilliant!
Saw her in Vegas the first week she opened there. The Broadway stage is small in comparison to the Collosseum so thankfully she didn't have to walk as far.
How did you get those seats? Did you have to be entered in a draw or something? Also what is it like sitting front row for that Theatre? Are you at eye level with the stage or are you looking up the whole time? I sat front row for Phantom and it was perfect!
I bought them 8 months ago. There are plenty front row seats in the fall on official site, which were previously unavailable. Its not so bad b/c most of the acton happens in front of the conductor, couple times they come up to the front bridge, and the angle isn't good but you get real close to Bette. Front row isn't always the best choice, depends on the show and arrangement. The worst is when the stage is too high and or the orchestra pit cuts off leg room.
BuddyTravelr Thank you so much! Would you recommend front row for this show?
Front row is twice the cost. But if that's not an issue, yes for the chance to shake hands with Bette. Choose seats just closer to where she starts shaking hands. I was the last person she touched in the center orchestra, and I was dead center.
I am hoping to get seats for September too...what a treat to see her in person in this production. But OMG...is that gentleman to her right Niles Crane??? I am shocked.
Check the official site there are def seats. Be sure to verify Bette's vacation dates. To her right is David Hyde Pierce, he is nominated.
Loved him in Fraser, but had no idea he was on broadway! Can't wait until September! Will get tickets this week. Thank you so much for verifying.
Why are you "shocked"? David Hyde Pierce has a number of outstanding Broadway credits -- as actor or director -- in both plays and musicals, and won the 2007 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical for the Kander & Ebb musical "Curtains." The informational gulf in this country between live theater and film/television is truly bizarre, as witness the TV obituaries for Sam Shepard that described him solely as a film actor, and neglected to mention the little fact that he was one of our finest playwrights. :)
Ahhh I love her
Great Seats!!
pdndpm was there a typo "breast seats" lol.
Would love to see that curtain call with Linda!
OMG, Fantastic! ~ PLEASE tell me you have the whole show!?! GOOD JOB! Thank you
of course not. lol. just the curtain call.
Some one pay all the money Miss Midler needs to do a live broadcast of Hello Dolly!
Why so much money for tickets to see Bette Midler ?
She’s very talented and made the producers a lot of money. If you think it’s too much, go backstage and talk to her. Likely she’ll agree and give some money back. NOT!!
@@johnpickford4222 NOT is right. Took the money and ran all the way to the bank in Hawaii. She'll be back in five years to charge even more.
can we use your footage on wnbc for a story we are doing on bette please
Sure please reference this link, and send me your link when you have it. thanks.
still sad to see Matilda go but this show has great ratings so it must be good
I'm curious...here Bette breaks away from the company for a single bow. In the other curtain call shown here, both she and David H-P come down and do a sweet bow. Anyone know when this change went in and any, for want of a better word, dish about it?
Your camera takes an awesome video.
I was there for a trip for drama club and had no clue who anyone was and now I do ...
did anyone else see Gavin Creel flossing??????
I would like this in the west end
amy clarke Rumor has it it might happen
#BetteMidlerTonyWinner
I love Bette but I don't like the fact that many are saying that she isn't that good. And why did she technically get 2 bows? UNFAIR to the cast!!!!
The cast doesn't care. They love Bette. According to your remark more than you do.
"many are saying" that's one of Trump's bogus lines that mean nothing. she was fantastic.
why are you recording a live performance? shame on you
The entire live performance of Hello! Dolly is less than 2 minutes? This is just the cast taking their bows, not the entire live performance At this point, are they performing? or just themselves taking the applause from the audience? I'd say the latter, myself, but that's just me.
Why didn't the producers record the entire show and release it for sale on dvd? Shame on them.
V
Carol Channing need not worry, as Bette failed to eclipse........With her countenance; she should have been better cast as the horse
And you should be better cast as the horse's arse.
I can't believe she separated herself from the cast to take some extra bows for herself. I bet she is the most hated performer on Broadway. You can be sure there will be some juicy stories once she leaves the show.
Not true, during the first performance David Hyde Pierce pushed her out at the curtain call and she was the star after all,
That is expected of the star. The rest of the cast doesn't mind, they love it and they love Bette. Now as for you, go eat a lemon.
Bruh you hella stupid
@@patriciabyrne5089 Pierce hid his disdain for the Diva.
I've seen better productions of this (terrible) play in a local high school gymnasium.
Bless your heart, poor thing! It must be terrible if nobody loves you and to make people hate you even more you come here to spread your negativity. I feel very sorry for you!
You got all that from my simple comment? LoLoL Fcking Loon~ I think you better go to your safe space ... we have new Play Dough and coloring books for you!
You are the loon. Now that you've spewed your disgusting hatred of Bette Midler, you can go spit on some children. I see by the elephant in your logo that you voted for Trash Dump. That explains insanity. Now go find a steep cliff and enjoy the ride down.
Bette amazing amazing talent one of a kind..........
