    Bike came out super nice! Congrats!
    I did the same thing with the choke yesterday. It was right after I created a fresh batch of premix too, so naturally my first thought was that I added too much oil because the bike was chugging and smoking like crazy 😅

    Bike looks great sounds pretty good too. Morgan is an awesome man.
    Does a lot for the dirt bike community glad? He was able to help you out.
    He is helping me out on the 29th of March to get my 89CR250 front suspension conversion done.

    For those hills try 2nd gear and alot if revs and clutch. Easier to control wheel spin.

  • @SuperWiez

    Try lifting your clutch and brake lever to a more horizontal position on the bars. It will help you get your weight back to climb better while still having good control. Lekker build

    I remember you said the flywheel was already weighted. I would try more, maybe. And start experimenting with gearing. The way you struggled up that hill was concerning.

    • @KincadePavich
      @KincadePavich  6 місяців тому

      Bike does not currently have a flywheel weight on it. Will experiment with putting it back on. Also not sure if GoPro does that hill justice, but that's a tricky hill even on my 350. It's very steep and very loose.

    Just some advice from a hard enduro rider that just came off a 200 LESS RPM PLEASEEEE that’s not how you ride hard enduro. I do know the smart card takes low end away( it’s a fact Ik people you’ve tried ) but less rpm please

    I have a 2013 ktm 200, even though it has the stock keihin carb it starts first kick and runs super crisp. I wonder if they changed the engine from 06 to 13 because you seemed to be having to rev it heaps to get power out of it whereas my bike has heaps of low end grunt like a 250/300. It doesn't like to rev heaps like a 125 though as the engine vibrates due to the piston being very heavy.

    Shane Watts used to kick ass on a KTM 200, it will take some getting used to as it requires a little different riding style than your 350, Morgan is a good guy and a true dirt biker to the core.

    Always check the simple things first before assuming the worst.
    I have numerous times forgotten to turn the petcock to reserve instead of “on” when working on my bike (and it just had a small amount of gas in the tank) and I was wondering why it wasn’t starting.

    Brother when it comes to small bore two strokes in the enduro you gotta learn how to hit everything with all the momentum and keep it! I bought a 23 ktm 125 to go with my 300 and ride it in the sawtooth mountains. You will be amazed after a bunch of rides on a small bore in the steep and nasty then jump back on a big bore and you will be leagues ahead of where you were…… they are great trainers….. and nothing is more satisfying then cleaning the steep and ugly on a 125 while all your buddies struggle on their 250/300s 🤣🤣😂

    Love seeing the 200 getting some love! I have had a 2013 200exc since brand new. They have more torque than you think. I never use first gear even in the tough stuff. Also my 200 was the first year with factory electric start. The engine looks very similar to your bike. Maybe you could retrofit electic start?

    The air forks are nice in Rocky sections, until hour 2 of the hard ride, because the oil in the air forks heats up very quickly and they begin to lose performance. That being said, they still perform alright, but the small bump sensitivity is drastically reduced. At least in my experience
