Wow this really is great. It's both sad and interesting to see all the civil wars and messy lines of control even in the modern day. If this is just a progress report I can't wait to see the final video.
Great work. Sometimes I dream of a Wiki or a reference source dedicated to border changes. By year, by geographic place, at last for the last centuries... that could be viewed by anyone.
No comment about accuracy, a project of this scope can't possibly be expected to show everything and just showing what you have now is already impressive. The only thing I'd change is reducing European control in North America, since much of it was not under direct control until beyond 1850. My real praise comes from the music choice, its very unique and really works to enhance the project. Especially with the climax from 1860-1900, it truly captures the titanic shift that was the Shamble for Africa

-Rebels in Mozambique disappear in 1992
-Same with Republic of Congo, rebels disappear prematurely
-Also no Kivu conflict
Aw man, you didn't show the northwest Indian revolts during ww1 that I had gone through so much effort to dig up from the annals of obscure history.
Amazing.

The domain expired; had to change to a direct IP which I added to the new description

Thanks for the comment! The next update will indeed include a large-scale attempt to better represent native control in North America.
